Aggressive marketing, scare tactics, and constant disruptions

I previously insured a car with Discovery but cancelled after selling the vehicle. I tried their 'online quick quote' tool for a new car, but instead of a price, I was met with a relentless barrage of phone calls. While the first agent was initially polite, the tone turned unprofessional as soon as I declined their high premiums. For weeks, I received calls nearly every single morning. These calls were constant and frequently interrupted important meetings and daily tasks, wasting my time despite me making it clear I was not interested. When I began blocking their numbers via TrueCaller, the agent simply switched to other Discovery-linked lines to bypass the blocks. Most concerning was the use of blatant 'scare tactics,' where the agent suggested that an accident or crash was a cer*****y if I didn't take their cover. To top it off, I am now served Discovery ads on YouTube every single day, which is incredibly annoying. Between the rude, aggressive agents and the intrusive digital marketing, this has been an exhausting experience. I would not recommend using their 'quick quote' tool unless you want to be hounded indefinitely. I would never recommend this company!

Sell My Car Quick

30k for a 2016 car worth 120k.

This company offered me R30k for a 2016 car that is worth around R120k. The cheapest car similar to mine I could find was R105k on Marketplace. Not sure if they tried to insult me or what. They don’t have the decency to call. They took over a day just to sent me a insulting offer of 30k. Id personally recommend you contact webuycars or weelee before you even think contacting this company.
