DONT TRUST AIR FRANCE TO REFUND YOU. Has anyone ever received a refund from Air France? Were you given an ARN number to track the refund via your bank? Long story over 3 years ago i booked a flight via a Air France agent. He booked the incorrect date instead of 6 September he booked 6 October (we only realized this when we went to apply for our Visas. We had to immediately change the flight and obviously pay the change fee. I have ever since requested the tape recording to prove that he made the mistake, no recording has been received. they then said they refunded me to find out it was in another bank account not the one I provided them. the process was started again, provided them with banking details for refund and the long wait. I eventually was told they refunded me and gave me a ARN number to give to my bank to trace my refund. Well, the bank cannot pick up any refund in my account. Air France also cannot provide me with the refund document reflecting my bank nor amount of refund. Today I was told it will be best that I start another claim, the Customer service department always "refer it to Finance" but no one can speak directly to them I am frustrated that after 3 years I have to start again. the story continues. QUICK TO TAKE YOUR MONEY, BUT RELUCTANT TO REFUND!!! Always apologizing for the inconvenience caused - RUBISH the booking reference was - UPL5FJ
EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE. Would highly recommend Mark Andries from Coida Services SA. Mark and his team worked under an extreme difficult situation, not in their control, with systems down at Workmans Compensation department and huge backlogs.
