My car got stucked and I phoned the insurance , they towed the car to this service provider on the 14/ 05 / 26. After I was not informed where the car was until I started calling the insurance to find out where it was , and after calling several times at Flora Auto Clinic was informed that they dont see the key i must give them my spare key had to be bolted from my work place to them and that was redflag 1.I gave them cause i wanted the car to be fixed.. after a week they claimed with the insurance and the claim was unsuccessful then had to pay R10100.00 from my pocket. The same day I was called to collect the car which was on the 27,/ 05 /2026 the car got stucked at night in the middle of nowhere before I reached home. I called them throughout the night however no 1 picked the phone as they say they work with Help 24 gearbox and diff. Im so disappointed and need the refund back cause they did nothing if not putting back the same parts ..

It began in September when I reached out to confirm the status of my extended warranty—one I joined in 2021 and have been consistently debited for since. To my surprise, I was told I had no warranty with them. I followed up via email and was informed the matter was still under investigation. Then, on Saturday, I lodged a claim due to a strange noise my car made when starting. I was instructed to take the vehicle to a dealer for inspection and a quote, which I promptly did. However, before the claim could proceed, I received a call from Andrew stating the claim was rejected because I hadn’t paid for September and October. I tried to explain the situation, but we couldn’t reach an understanding—and the claim remained denied. What’s most troubling is the misleading way these companies operate. They entice us with cheaper quotes, often under the same underwriter, and assure us that our existing insurance will automatically extend coverage once we join. But when issues arise, they leave us in the dark. I’ve since discovered that Auto & General and Budget—both of which I’ve been involved with—fall under the same group. Yet no one clarified that holding two policies under the same underwriter could cause complications. Instead of transparency, it feels like a strategy to grow their business through confusion and unnecessary extras.
IF I have t rate standard bank insurance f will rate them a 0 rate and won't recommend it to anybody.no matter how stranded the person is. IIm fixing the damaged after they declined the claim citing that it's poorly maintenance and even in 2016 it was declined fot the same reason. It's like I'm wasting my money by monthly premiums and want them to cancel their insurance asap.
My experience is that I'm poorly assessed when I'm in a predicament and with all the money that they've been debiting in my account since 2010. The second time I claimed and was told about poor maintaining the house. I' want to cancel the insurance asap cause my money is going down the drain without any assistance. People must be very careful when they choose their home insurance cause Standard bank Insurance is not one of the best.
My name is Alinah Nyambi ID 7305160636086 residing in Vosloorus had an issue with a house that was being damaged by the storm and rain on Thursday 28/11/2024 during the day while I was at work. , I reported the matter at Standard Bank Insurance on Friday ( 29/11/2024) and I was informed that they will send the assessor. Yesterday ( 03/12/2024) the assessor came and assessed the house. This morning 4/12/2024 I received the report via a call that they can't fix the house because the assessor cited that the house is poorly maintained, my worry is it is the second time they have assessed and informed me of poor maintenance which doesn't make sense. I am paying the insurance for the building with them but when I encounter any building damages they can't assist citing the poor maintenance. Please assist because with all this frustration and all the maintenance I'm doing it can't be poor maintenance due to water when the house was shaking and caused damages.
