Had put on new tyres a couple on months previously at Bike Tyre Warehouse Midrand, but kept having to check pressure. Losing 0.2 to 0.3 bar daily. Took to Bruce an his guys and was sorted out in no time. Turns out it was faulty 90 degree valves, which I had put on previously. They only charged me for the cost of of new valves. Since then I have had no issues at all. Bruce and his team run a very professional and friendly outfit, where service is key and their price beat everyone else by quite a margin. Well done to them......it also has to be the cleanest tyre fitment center EVER :-)
I received a SMS warning from Vodacom that my account was hacked. Shortly after that I received a SMS telling me I had spent nearly R 2000 on a game. My phone was put under admin lock. Shortly after I received an email from Vodacom: We have detected excessive usage on the number 0828216470 billing an amount of R3198.66 due to Google App store purchases." I have replied to their email and called and emailed [email protected] Have even spoke with fraud department. ZERO FEEDBACK !!!
How is it that a phone supplier like Vodacom, can sell you a phone in April 2018, and in August 2019 tell you it is redundant. So they no longer keep screen protectors, or anything, for it. Hello, my contract has another 8 months to go. Can I then make my payments redundant too? Imagine buying a car and 16 months after purchase no longer being able to get anything for it? Went to Vodaworld, which is HQ. Went to Cresta, where they told me, sorry, we no longer keep stuff for your phone as it is discontinued. You,, Vodacom, are ripping us off.....
I have a wonderful Defy Laundromaid 1300, 13kg top loader washing machine. At least it was, until the hose between the drum and the pipe started leaking. Phoned various suppliers who had no stock. Called DEFY (011 621 0300) who also have no stock, Time to get stock more than 10 DAYS. So how do I survive without my washing machine ? It is not as if it is a budget model, nor has it been discontinued. All the suppliers I called stated that DEFY was being overly optimistic with their 10 day waiting period.....

Proudly South African, you can buy our product expecting that parts will be kept. We just wont tell you how long you will have to wait for them. So, effectively a hose (Part No. 3613272800) that costs less than R50, will disable a R5000 plus washing machine.

Well done DEFY
