Do not order from this company!! They will take your money, confirm the order and that's in all likelihood the last time you will hear from them. I placed an order on February 4th for over 1.600,00 Rand and still have not heard anything, although I cancelled the order due to non-delivery 2 weeks later. The Consumer Goods & Services Ombudsman took on the case, but have not been successful in recovering the money. I will now open a ***** case. Not prepared to write off this money.
Have never received an order this fast. Unbelievably good service, and an enthusiastic and charming driver (Thato) on top of that.
We moved house in July and realised after a few days that some items had gone missing and the dishwasher was damaged during the exercise - we had it fixed by Bosch and upon mentioning to our service consultant at Momentum what had happened she immediately sent me a claims form. We submitted our claim on August 8th. On September 2nd (!), we were informed that the documents were not readable. Further down the line we were requested to provide them with a damage report by Bosch itself or a Bosch certified technician about the cause of the damage to the dishwasher which we did. They then appointed an arbitrary company in Durban (out of all places - we are in Joburg!) to asses the report and the claim for the dishwasher was rejected on the grounds that this was "normal wear and tear". Our complaints that there was a very clear link between us moving and the dishwasher not working have obviously fallen on deaf ears. What concerns the missing items, we have not received any further feedback and emails as to what the situation is regarding the still outstanding claim have been left unanswered. They sent me an email rating their "awsome service"! We were with Alexander Forbes for nearly 3 decades and were always happy with their customer orientation, premiums and speed of service. After Momentum took over, things have very obviously deteriorated including a sharp increase in premiums, the tone of correspondence, quality of correspondence, service level and speed of attending to claims. I would not recommend them if you paid me for it.
