My little sister came for funeral this past weekend and booked return ticket from Cape town to East London, she was supposed to return today but bus never showed up at East London station, they were put in a greyhound bus that is going to joburg and advised they would be dropped off Queenstown and picked up by their Delta coaches bus from there and make their trip to Cape town, however her and 20 other passengers are stranded in Queenstown shell garage with no hope or communication, instead one of the Delta mechanics advised them that the only bus going to Cape town had already left earlier and was full and there wont be any other, he tried calling to assist but did not get anywhere and ended up leaving, im writing this with a sore heart as there is no care at all as theu have been stranded at the garage for more than 2 hours now and should she arrange a place to sleep and bus comes and leaves her she will struggle to get refund as is, even though fault is on the companies side... No arrangements or communication, they were just picked up from East london amd dropped of in Queenstown.
Hi i am writting this post on behalf of my fiance Kim Yasmine Williams, her mother (Pamela williams) passed away last week, she submitted a claim friday with intentions of burying her mother wednesday but metropolitan only started processing tuesday claim, she then changed date to this coming saturday, her mother gave birth to her at 49 and she never had a relationship with her mother, her aunts in durban raised her, so because of the age gap and there was error done by undertaker recording her relationship to deceased as grandmother instead of mother(which was rectified and proof sent to investigator) but she has been running around trying to get proof that this is her mother for investigator, his name is Thando he never gave surname, his rude and unprofessional, disregards the persons state during loss and has no sense of urgency with the matter as she sent all proof he required and provided names for people to contact to confirm relationship, we have been trying to find out what is the status of the claim as everything is dependant on the pay out to prepare for funeral but he drops her calls, the funeral is saturday and still she doesnt know what is going on with her claim, its very dissapointing recieving such treatment at a time like this, dealing with people that make silly remarks and you expected to explain why your mother had u at such a late age, where as relationship was never verified when you take out policy, but now that it has to pay out its a problem. The family doesnt know how its gonna proceed with funeral as tomorrow is a public holiday and no one is informing of status of claim or investigation
