Edgars Retrench Policy - Poor Service
Retrenched Dec 2023, submitted all docs and claim was "approved". Since then it’s been non-stop emails, calls and legal threats. Every time I deal with their lawyers, I send everything over and hear nothing for 3 months. Then the same story starts again. Almost 3 years of runaround and zero resolution. And I refuse to pay... why did they deduct retrenchment policy fees and approved but now its as if I'm getting bu**** to pay it in anyway. Will never ever do business again with Edgars.

Exclusive Auto's - No after sales assistance / Non existing
I purchased a vehicle from Exclusive Auto's in November last year. Although they charged me registration fees, I was told I would need to handle the registration myself, but they promised to refund the amount since their location is in another province. After paying R1341 for the registration, I have been given numerous excuses over the past 3 months as to why the refund hasn’t been processed, despite their repeated assurances that the payment would be resubmitted. Additionally, I noticed noises coming from the vehicle's brakes. The salesman advised me to take the car to an RMI-registered garage for a diagnostic report, which cost me R900. However, Exclusive Auto's refuses to reimburse me for this diagnostic report, nor have they addressed the issues identified in the report. As part of the sale, I was also promised a towbar, which I have yet to receive. Given these unresolved issues, I am considering reporting Exclusive Auto's to the Motor Industry Ombudsman for further action.

Edgars - Incompetence
Edgars handed me over to debt collectors (MBD) and smeared my name through mud on experian... I was retrenched Nov 2023 and after applying through IUA Business solutions they appointed Hollard to pay out outstanding amount to Edgars. This have been going on for months.. I emailed the paid up letter to Edgars, MBD and IUA but with no success... Every 2nd day MBD calls me and my name is still on experian and now I cant apply for any credit... I dont know how to go forward or to resolve this as I've used hundreds and hundreds rand of airtime and still it continues.
