Dear Sir/Madam, I am submitting a formal complaint regarding the extremely poor workmanship and service I received following the replacement of the windscreen on my VW Caddy Panel Van under an insurance claim. On 1 May 2026, an individual jumped onto my vehicle causing damage to the windscreen, right-hand side fender, light and bumper. I contacted my insurer and the claim for repairs and windscreen replacement was approved. I requested to use PG Glass due to previous positive service experiences, however I was informed that I had to use Glasfit. On 2 May 2026, I contacted the Glasfit Brynston branch and spoke to Oofy Martyn. I provided my claim number and VIN number so that the windscreen could be ordered. On 4 May 2026, I was informed that the windscreen had arrived and I brought the vehicle in for fitment. While at the workshop I personally observed workers removing the windscreen in an extremely careless manner. During the process: Three cables linked to my dashcam and accessories were ripped out. My vehicle was left with broken glass pieces on the dashboard, steering wheel and interior. I was told by staff that their vacuum cleaner “was not powerful enough.” Upon driving on the freeway immediately after fitment, there were major wind noises from the windscreen area. I contacted Oofy immediately and was told to “let it settle in.” The following day, after identifying several areas where air was entering the cabin, I recorded videos and sent them to Oofy. A mobile team was then arranged to attend to the vehicle at my home on 6 May 2026. The technician, Warren from Glasfit, removed the windscreen again and discovered multiple areas where there was no silicone/sealant app**** at all. Warren himself expressed shock at the poor workmanship and we both recorded videos of the condition of the installation. Additional damages discovered included: Scratches on the dashboard Cut and damaged side pillar plastics Damage caused during removal and installation Unsafe sealing that could have resulted in water entering the vehicle All of this evidence was recorded and sent to both Glasfit representatives and the insurer. On 19 May 2026, I received another call from Oofy asking only about repairing the fender, despite the far more serious issues with the windscreen installation and interior damage. I requested management involvement and later received a call from Charmine, who appeared unaware of the seriousness of the matter despite all videos and evidence already submitted. I advised her that I was extremely unhappy and considering exposing this experience publicly due to the unacceptable service and safety risks involved. She advised she would escalate the matter to head office and revert to me. To date, I have received no further communication or resolution. The only reason the windscreen issue was corrected was due to Warren professionally redoing the installation after the workshop’s failed workmanship. I am now left with: Interior damage Dashboard scratches Damaged trims Previously ripped wiring Significant inconvenience and frustration Loss of confidence in the workmanship and quality control of Glasfit I request the following: A full investigation into the workmanship and conduct of the Glasfit Brynston branch.

Dont use JS POOL SPECIALISTS

2 year few months after doing brand new pool 7 panels are leaking we calling his saying it has only 2 years warranty but his in voice saying 5 year warranty. Besides him doing a very bad job with the marble light after spending 200k plus on a brand new pool now we have to go around fixing all his mistakes at our own costs. He keeps using new numbers as well and hides behind his whatsapp number even blocking you on WhatsApp and Facebook.

Dont use fourways wendy house

Please dont ever use this guys they say 7 years warranty we having problems from day one. The took was leaking the roof is sacking even now he kept making excuses his vehicle is broken etc etc few months later put wendy house started rotting that's after paying him R21400 for 3mx4. He finally came and painted the wendy house with a dark colour to hit everything and never came back. I even gave him my friends wendy house to do he did the same thing took 99 percent of the money and and never came back. Fourways Wendy house is a no no pls *** and *** that's his number and his Lazarus I wasted all my time and money using this guy

JS POOL DID A BRAND NEW POOL 2023 EVERYTHING WAS A MESS TODAY ALL 7 SOLAR PANELS AND LEAKING HIS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND HE EVEN BLOCKED MY CALLS FACEBOOKS AND WHATAPP DONT EVER USE JS POOL SPECIALIST JOSHUA OR PHINDU BUSINESS CAUSE THEY BOTH HIS COMPANY THATS AFTER PAYING HIM 234 TO 250K FOR A BRAND NEW POOL WITH EVERY.

Will never use JS POOLS SPECIALISTS / PHINDU BUSINESS INVESTMENTS and Joshua the owner again. Had an existing pool the marbelite was coming out so decided to get it redone, called JS Pools to redo my pool. Went with a bigger and new pool which included heated pump, to date it's not set up the heated pump JS POOL installed. Old pool was 7 x 4 new pool 9 x 4.5 everything brand new. They started on 21 February 2023 and finished 14 March 2023. I’ve spent R216084.60 in total, but it didn’t end their I had to fit the bill for rubble and a jack hammer as an extra cost to me including bottom drain which had to be done according to JS Pools( Joshua) for the underground water (R6500 EXTRA). He also didn’t calculate paving properly and later an extra cost was added to my bill. On 14 March 2023 pool was handed to us the owners without the heated pump being set up to date but Joshua gave me a YouTube video to set it up myself that didn't help. A water feature which costed R14499.00 after removing the bubble wrapped was dented and scratched which we shown him. The cement truck damaged my lawn garden and the paving hence all the paving had to be removed. Some of the mosaic tiles was not put on straight. Besides all of this we asked after the marbelite was done, why wasn’t it smooth because they did stop work and covered with plastic as it started to rain, his reply was that it will come right when brushing the pool. In the pool all we added was chlorine the first day and next day, water was tested 6 days later at builders warehouse and that went on for the next 4 weeks. The pool kept getting worse and dirty only where the marbelite wasn't smooth. We put Iron remover on the 3rd week iron was higher and at 5 weeks we got the water perfect. On 12 April 2023 after keep showing Joshua from JS pools what the pool looked like he came out and said a lot of things trying by all means to put the blame on me the customer. He said firstly chemistry then too much chemicals then the underground water then I should sand paper the pool where it’s dirty and a whole lot more. I spoke to his guys that did the marbelite out of 4 guys 2 guys whom we asked said the marbelite wasn't done properly and it needs to be redone. A week after requesting JS POOLS to come redo and fix his job no response tried contacting him about a week later and again he tried to push the blame on me. I’ve got all the reports for the water tests and told him we have 5 year warranty on the workmanship and structural so come fix his job. He said 18 April 2023 he will have to come and help me to grid or smooth-end the pool till now no reply as to when. So I’m done playing his running around games and taking the legal route cause we paid completely for his job which my pool I’m now regretting cause for a one month old pool looks dirty stained and unsmooth like 10 years old now. This is all after contacting his previous employer he gave us the number for cleaning 13 April 2023 he recommended after sending her picture and videos she said that I should contact Joshua/JS POOLS cause the pool should not look like that after 4 weeks and new marbelite job, everything I’ve done so far is above board and I should give it a day for the chemicals to work and see if the stains on the unsmooth places comes out. Cause if it looks like that in 4 weeks imagine 6 months to 1 year. Giving Joshua from JS pools feedback his reply was she’s not a pool specialist but does cleaning only and laughed. Whomever said must redo marblite including the other company’s they should come do it I said but your 2 guys also said that he said I’m lying which I told him I have proof. When he said Tuesday 18 April 2023 we neglected the pool and didn’t follow instruction he couldn’t answer how Said if he does come to help me he doesn’t have water storage bag and ill loose all the water and money I’ve spent on the chemicals when ask what warranty after that quite again his helping me imagine yet the marblite is gona be thinner and messed up if he smoothens it as it supposed to be done by professionals and his guy said these guys aren’t professionals the professional guys where in capetown busy that’s why he used this guys. From 18th April to date 22 April no communication. On 28 April 2023Joshua/JS POOLS came with his guys to sand paper the pool after ive gotten quotes to have it done which was around R20K. After he seen the pool condition he agreed the job wasn't done correctly. took the whole day to sand paper the pool and fill the cracks and spots, some places where differrent colour wher he batched when asked he said it will come right. 29 April 2023 he came back and finished and put back the water. 27 May 2023 messaged him saying ive seen black/blue dots and its not going away. His reply after few days, the blue dots is dye in the marbelite that foam like spot when marbelite is dry till date its still there. Pipe for solar burst 28 August 2023 after showing him he said he will come sort it out and will let me know which day after ive fixed myself on 30 august 2023 at 17 34 he wanted to come fix it. My advise dont ever use JS POOLS trading under PHINDU BUSINESS INVESTMENTS. Cause he doesnt keep to his warranty and im not the first client this happened to. He blocked me from facebook afraid of the truth also whatsapp. I have all the pictures videos of everything said if needed.

Never take insurance with Flight centre

We took a family holiday in December 2016, an insurance for 2 adults and 2 children. It was a 23day holiday.<br> During our travels our bags were torn damaged by an internal airline \Spice Jet\" pictures were taken and my daughter was ill but i was told the amount was too small for them to pay. Our travel agent was informed -he advise. When we arrived home in January 2016 all relevant documents we had were sent to the Insurance company\"Travel insurance consultants\" I spoke to the agent who confirmed she had received the documents and pictures and will send it to next phase. I received a few emails asking the same question in different words {if i could take the damaged bags to a reputable supplier to confirm if the bags were damaged and the cost incurred\". Who will carry the torn damaged \"useless\" 4 bags back home, really was I expected to do that? When i did call in to question them i got answers like the agent dealing with your case is away when she returns well get her to call. Guess what she has never called going 3 months now I left messages for the manager \"Noel\" to get back to me, to date he has not called. I paid for the insurance to cover me It was a waste of my money. "
