Good afternoon. My name is Poobalan Govender. On the 03 April 2026 i went to a Capitec ATM at Stanger Spar with my son to withdraw R5000.00. The message i saw on the screen showed transaction successful. I also received a message on my phone saying that R5000.00 was deducted from my account. I waited as the machine was busy counting the money. However when the dispenser opened up, no money came out. We stood at the ATM to check if the money would come out. It did not. The machine screen then said offline. No correction message was received on my phone. We stood there and i called the Capitec client center via the app. The lady who answered put me on hold. I cut the call and tried again. A lady answered and i explained the situation. She told me that because of the long weekend, the money would be reversed. I should get the money by 12:00 the same day. I then left. On the very same evening, i called the call center again and spoke to a guy called Junior. He apologized and said he will escelate the matter. The case number was 07640243. The next day (04/04/2026) i went to the Capitec branch in Stanger to complain that 12 hours have passed and i did not receive my money. The consultant called the call center and a lady told the consultant that i would get my money within 7 days. I then left. On the 14 April 2026, i went to a Capitec branch at City View in Durban to check on the outcome. I was told by the consultant that the case was closed. I was very upset because nobody from Capitec called me to give a feed back. Even though i was the client reporting this ***** at Capitec. The consultant was told to open another case to the ATM department. This ATM department is really ***********. They were supposed to check how much money was loaded into the machine and how much was dispensed. Then they would know how much money would have been left in the machine during my transaction. The did not do that, they just said that the money was dispensed. There are cameras on the ATM and behind us. They should have checked the cameras before accusing me of taking the money. I am gone to the extent of opening a ***** case against Capitec Bank. They never even considered to do an in depth investigation into this matter but make hasty decisions. You are my only hope. Please assist.
I trusted Mamela with my debt management from 2016. I was faithfully pay to Hypen PDA every month. In October 2024, a payment of R2650.00 was made to Hypen PDA, only to get a sms saying no payment was received. In November a statement was received saying that R 450.00 was paid to companies owed. Where did the other R2,200.00 go to. Tried calling Mamela from October 2024 to date, number only engaged. Sent an e mail to my case handler, Catherine Samuels ,but no response. Whoever is reading this review, please don't trust Mamela Consulting as they are a *****ulent company. May their evil leaders and staff burn in Hell for cheating and robbing poor people of their hard earned money. Rest in Peace Mamela Consulting Leaders and their Staff. So sad. God will judge all of you'll because all of you'll knew that you were involved in this *****.
A call was logged for an underground burst pipe. They came after a week. The so called contractors were told by me where the mainline pipes were. They were also informed of the wifi cable. A guy by the name of xomeni told me that they know what they are doing. I told him that i was not telling him how to do his job. I was only informing him where the cables were. They eventually cut the wifi cable after me telling jim and pointing at the cable. He was full of attitude. Goes to show that these so called public servants also have an attitude. Elections are near so voting is important to them. Really not co operative. So sad.
