I had a very disappointing experience at KFC Rivershed and felt it needs to be shared. I visited the drive-through, placed my order, and paid as normal. After paying, I was asked to park in front of the store because the waiting time would supposedly only be between 5–7 minutes. After waiting for 15 minutes with no food and no feedback from staff, I decided to go inside the store to ask what was happening with my order. The lady assisting me was extremely rude and unprofessional. She told me that they were “supposed to say” that the strips I ordered take 10 minutes to prepare. I explained to her that I had already been waiting for 15 minutes, so my order should already have been ready. While standing there, I noticed several other customers who had also used the drive-through and had already been waiting close to 20 minutes. There were also four vehicles ahead of me still waiting for their food. I then mentioned that if certain items take that long, they should not be offered through the drive-through, especially when customers are being told to wait only a few minutes. After this, the staff member approached a male employee, who came to me with a cash refund and informed me that they would not be able to provide my order at all. He apologised, but by that stage the damage was already done. I was left feeling embarrassed and humiliated in front of other customers and ended up leaving after nearly 20 minutes without any food. This level of service is completely unacceptable for a drive-through experience. Poor communication, rude staff, excessive waiting times, and then ultimately refusing to fulfil a paid order is not acceptable customer service. I will definitely not be supporting KFC Rivershed again.
My wife was admitted at Medi-Clinic Potchefstroom on 18 September 2024 for dysphagia (PMB condition). We confirmed upfront with doctor treating her that the procedure would be fully covered by medical aid as it was a PMB and an emergency. We made it clear we would not proceed otherwise. My wife experienced discomfort and distressed because of trouble swallowing. Despite this, we are still being billed by Dr Laubscher’s radiology practice. This is clearly an internal administrative issue between the practice and Mediclinic, yet: • They continue sending accounts and even a final demand • They refuse to resolve the issue directly with Mediclinic • The burden is being unfairly placed on me as the patient Heidi Trosello has been particularly unhelpful and dismissive, even going as far as telling me to “take it up with the medical council”. This is completely unacceptable. Patients should not be forced to fix billing errors between providers, especially for a PMB case that should be covered. This experience reflects poorly on both Mediclinic and the radiology practice.

Excellent service and help from Senzo at Go Solar. He took me through all the steps and assisted me in signing up. Solar system was installed and Senzo also followed up to make sure that I am happy and satisfied.
