Would never advice to buy a suzuki outboard motor. Bought ours 3vyears ago for use at our holiday home and we have had untold problems. Back and forth to retailer and other Suzuki mechanics and within the 3 years, my grandchildren have probably not had more than 5 hours of use. We have request a new one but it is declined. It has become a joke at our holiday estate as when we do put it in the water, so many people come to watch IF it will work and for how long. It has been a living nightmare.
I have always supported takealot for years with no problems. Well, the problems have begun and I need to WARN all consumers. I have always purchased items, in advance, for gifts. In March, I ordered a small Kenwood handmixer (ONLY R399) as a gift for a stork party in August for my daughter. She in turn only opened the box to start making pureed food a few weeks ago and found that the blade section was missing from the sealed box. I contacted Takalot and it was immediately collected. Then the problems began. Had 5 people arrive to collect the item only to be told that it had been collected so already a huge mix up. Then I started receiving numerous emails stating that the product is out of the 7 day return period!!!! When I explained that I often do in advance purchasing for gifts I have been enfatically told that an item can only be exchanged or refunded WITHIN 7 DAYS OF PURCHASE!!! SO EVERYONE BEWARE, YOU ARE EXPECTED TO OPEN UP A SEALED GIFT AND IF ANYTHING WRONG, IT HAS TO BE RETURNED WITHIN 7 DAYS!!!! I Refuse to break open a gift before presenting it and I am now worried as I have bought lots of gifts for birthdays and Christmas through Takalot so obviously the 7 day return period will be over. A VERY UNHAPPY EX TAKALOT CUSTOMER.
After many years of doing online shopping at Pick n Pay, I have now come to realise that incompetency is an understatement. I ordered my normal monthly order for last week Friday between 9-10am. The order arrived on Saturday lunchtime to a closed business!! I contacted the department concerned who admitted they have developed a problem. HALF of my order then arrived on Tuesday and although my account has been debited, my other half has not arrived. Numerous phone calls and emails to no avail. I will be taking this further and Pick n Pay will never see me again!!
For years I have purchased on line shopping. Now sick and tired of SO MANY PRODUCTS being "out of stock". I can walk into Pick n Pay now and those products will be full up on the shelves??? Even though I allow for substitutes, this month I had 7 tems out of stock ie macaroni, jelly, viennas, wooden, vinegar, sample, beans ????? Thinking it may be easier shopping elsewhere. Very annoyed!!!
I wrote a serious complaint about Multichoice on 20th October and had a reply yesterday 26th October. Multichoice have apologised for the unpleasant experience being received from them and that my \billing has been adjusted"but GUESS WHAT - today being the 27th October"
I have had an account on DEBIT ORDER with Multichoice for years. From August 2015, I have had to regularly phone to ask why my one single decoder is always being turned off. When I phone, I am told various different stories and it is then re-connected for a short period again - my query \escalated to accounts"? Two weeks ago I phoned to activate my holiday home dstv (which is always a nightmare as well)"
