Several months ago, I was involved in an accident when a large truck cut a corner and damaged my Golf GTI, a vehicle I’ve proudly owned since 2017 and kept in excellent condition. My insurer initially arranged for the car to be towed to Renew IT in Sandton. Unfortunately, the assessment process there was slow, and my vehicle remained with them for nearly a week before I received feedback. Extremely poor service received from Shell New Road Service station in Midrand
I booked a HP Laptop in to the repair center on the 21st of February 2025. We waited MANY weeks for this unit to be repaired. Also, we had to pay R450.00 UPFRONT when booking the unit in. We received an email on Friday 11th of April 2025 at 14H47 saying that the laptop was ready to be collected. I drove through to the repair center at 08h45. I handed in my works order to the agent at the desk and they processed the paperwork. This person then summoned another person to go and fetch the unit from the store. I waited a while for the person to return EMPTY HANDED. I was told that I have to wait 30 minutes for the laptop as it was not ready. This is PATHETIC service from ENSURE "SERVICES". They are the WORST place to deal with and the agents that you deal with are so unprofessional, taking their time to process your book in or collection whilst having PRIVATE discussions about the week-end. They definitely DO NOT focus on the job at hand nor do they give a damn about the customer and their time.
I app**** for a SIM from a service provider. The entire process was carried out on-line. Once completed I had the option to choose an EXPRESS delivery which was supposed to be a 3 hour wait. I indicated to them that the delivery was to a business address. My application was done before 07H00 AM on Friday morning the 9th of February 2024. At 12h25 I made contact with the Service Provider to enquire at to the whereabouts of my new SIM as it had not yet arrived. After a lengthy discussion over What's App the SP could not tell me when delivery would take place. All they could tell me that "it would be today" (that being last Friday). At 17:25 on Friday afternoon I receive an SMS from the couriers stating that my parcel will be delivered at 17H00 or first thing on the next business day. I then left the office for home. NO SIM> On Saturday morning (can't recall the exact time) I received a call from a courier stating that he is at my office and there is nobody there. I was trying to explain that I don't work on week-ends. At a point he killed the call on me. At 14h41 on Saturday afternoon I received an SMS thanking me for choosing AfriHost and saying that I must fasten my seat belt and get ready for Pure Internet Joy. At this point I did not bother any longer. At around 07h30 this morning, our security person who controls our access gate at the office park, came to me with the parcel in hand. He told me that the courier just let the package with him. What a poor experience!
