Steers El Ridge has some of the worst delivery drivers we have experienced. They are absolutely rude, have no manners, and unfortunately this is not the first or second time we’ve had a horrible experience with your delivery service. The driver did not greet us when arriving with the food, placed the food on the floor, avoided all eye contact, and would not even speak through the gate access system so I could open for him at the complex. His attitude and behaviour were extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. We support your branch regularly, but experiences like this make us reconsider ordering again. Management seriously needs to address the conduct and customer service standards of the delivery drivers.
Very disappointed with the quality control at BP Pick ‘n Pay Birch Road Benoni. Almost every time we’ve bought the 2L Pick n Pay brand full cream fresh milk from this store, it has been sour or already off before the expiry date. Today was the worst experience yet — the milk container was visibly swollen when we opened it, which should already have been a warning sign. When poured into our coffee, the milk immediately separated and curdled. The expiry date is only 21 May 2026, so it should definitely still be fresh. Please check your refrigeration/storage conditions and stock rotation. Customers should not have to repeatedly waste money on spoiled products. I would strongly advise others to avoid buying this milk from this branch until the issue is resolved.
The worst customer service. I was looking for a particular necklace and called in to find out if they had stock. The woman on the phone was extremely unfriendly and seemed I was asking too much from her. I then arrive there and there is only 1 woman at the tills. I stood waiting for 10 minutes before someone assisted me. I then explained I phoned in and asked the lady to keep the necklace aside for me. She did not even do that, it was still sitting on display. It was a looooong unfriendly and uncomfortable experience up until payment. She then wants to box it for me and pulls out a ring box. I said, excuse me?! Do you not have a necklace box and this is a gift. She said no this is all we have and tried stuffing it into a tiny ring box. She then said she would go to American Swiss and get a box. She then brings one back that was damaged and the lid wouldn’t even sit on the box properly, she adds “you can’t even see it” LOL! It was clear as day. I could not believe this! I told her to just put it in that damaged box so I could leave. Horrible service! Fortunately I have a brand new jewellery/gift box at home to place the necklace in, otherwise I would have made sure she found me an acceptable box. Pathetic!!!
Stay far away from this company! They are a bunch of ****mers!!! Everything looks legit on their website, they have a landline number, email address & banking details linked to a registered company. They are smart ****mers and doing the most to take peoples money. We ordered steel lockers and steel cabinets in the beginning of October 2023. We were given an estimated delivery date that came and went, struggled to get through to them on multiple occasions and when you eventually do they give you excuses about the warehouse having manufacturing issues. We waited 3 months and still nothing!! I asked for a refund at the beginning of December and didn’t get a response until the beginning of this week. They then informed me that they will only be paying 70% of the orders total “due to their T&C’s” accepted when placing the order. (30% cancellation fee) The goods were not even delivered!!! These people need to be closed down.
