Budget Rent A Car

Car rent at Chicago Airport

I rented a Car on October at the Chicago Airport for 4 days. The price was above 800 USD for the 4 days, but it is OK if the service is fine. All 4 days were heavy raining, but still the car was returned in normal conditions after all as planned. The receiving person accepted it as normal. A couple of days later however, suddenly AVIS deducted additional 450 USD from my Credit Card inform me they discovered smoke smell in the car and they acted to clean it. I am not smoking (not at all) and only I travelled with this vehicle. In conclusion this is a tricky and *****ulent claim. I disputed it via my bank but they a=eventually said nothing can they do in this regard. It looks either some of the workers smoked in the car (purposefully) or this is a normal ******** act from the AVIS itself. I kind of petty crime a petty theft!
