I am extremely disappointed with the shocking level of customer service from Nike South Africa. My son wore a brand-new pair of Nike shoes only once before the shoelace area completely ripped out due to a clear manufacturing defect. I returned the shoes, but Nike has just emailed me to officially reject the return under order G10232178308, claiming the item is "used/worn". It was worn ONCE, which is exactly when the factory fault became visible. On 15 April 2026, an agent acknowledged the defect and formally escalated my issue under Case Number 136278131. I was promised an email update within 5 to 7 working days. After waiting a full month (4 weeks) with zero feedback, I gave support a 24-hour deadline yesterday. Instead of a resolution from a manager, I received a automated rejection email today. Nike delivers premium-priced products but offers sub-standard customer care and refuses to take responsibility for clear factory faults.
