my family and I were guests at the Emerald Resort & Casino from 1 May to 3 May 2026. We stayed at the Bush Lodge (Nkwe), and up until the incident, our experience had been pleasant. On Sunday, 3 May, after checking out and having breakfast, we decided to spend a final moment at the pool area before departing. At approximately 12:00 PM, I went to call my family, only to find my younger sister involved in a verbal disagreement with three other guests following a misunderstanding between children in the pool. I intervened and encouraged my sister to disengage so we could leave. Although she initially comp****, she was taken aside by staff to an interview room. Upon exiting, the same guests allegedly mocked her, which led her to briefly record them on her phone. Shortly thereafter, multiple security personnel approached her and demanded that she delete the video. She cooperated and deleted it in their presence. However, more security staff continued to arrive, eventually surrounding her (approximately 6 or more individuals), insisting she also delete the video from her trash folder. When she refused, they prevented her from leaving. At this point, I began recording the situation for my own protection, as I felt the situation was escalating and unjustified. What followed was deeply distressing: • I was aggressively approached by several security personnel • I was threatened with arrest for recording • A female security officer forcefully grabbed my phone, causing it to fall • I was physically manhandled, resulting in injury to my arm • My phone was taken from me against my will • I was repeatedly pulled back while attempting to leave I have travelled to many places and have never experienced such treatment. Being handled in such a manner, particularly over a personal device was degrading, unacceptable, and felt discriminatory. It is deeply concerning that paying guests can be treated in such a way. This incident has had both emotional and physical impact on myself and the children and has completely overshadowed what was meant to be a memorable family experience. I sent an email to complain, and they do not find any misconduct on their end. This is shocking !!
I hope I got the correct hospital, but the hospital I went to is "Lenmed Ahmed Kathrada Private Hospital" I went to a Gyne there DR Mary Deena for a consultation, I was charged R1500 consultation, and I paid because my medical insurance could not cover, however now I'm getting calls from lancet Lab advising i need to pay R750. i was shocked and why I was called. Firstly, I did not receive any results, 2ndly, I was not advised of this amount prior , 3rdly no one is assisting me im being taken from pillar to post with this case, and no one is taking responsibility or wants to help, im so sick and tired of the back and forth! can someone do something because im not paying that amount. my email is [email protected]
I have never had an issue with my MTN contract, however only now I'm experiencing such shocking experience. I cancelled my contract early in the year and I was left with insurance, I thought automatically the insurance is canceled when i cancel my contract, however the insurance continued, I called to cancel my insurance a month later after cancelling my contract and it was confirmed its cancelled. however now im told my insurance is in arrears " I have never heard of insurance being in arrears, and under what circumstances? because I did my due diligence and cancelled, and now my bank keeps incurring arrears because of failed debits. I called MTN so they cancel the debit order and i was referred to call insurance, I called (Nthabiseng Makoro insurance) they sent me back to MTN for debit order removal! At this point im tired and not being assisted and need the debit order off my account asap! please send an email back on [email protected]
RE: FWD: CLAIM PAYMENT WF_226971624 - Reference number: wf_226984329 I logged a refund request since the 29 of January but I still have not received it and I used my money to pay and instead I keep getting delays with my refund. I was sent the incorrect document with a password, and I called asking if it’s received only to find the did not process anything due to someone sending me the incorrect document!! But in the meantime, I’m being delayed and now I called they said they have not processed the banking details to the processing team!! I’m disappointed and don’t suggest others to join this network! I was sent an email by Bathabile Serasengwe, spoke to line manger Peggy, as said she will escalate which i doubt i will be assisted. I used my grocery money and now 4 weeks later still not paid. from Health Claims Department and in between there is no communication what so ever !!!
I was making my way home in midrand waiting for my bus when i was approached by one of the absa agents namely "Maropene Ramokgora" his number is 0636409746. I enquired about the card and explained Im looking for a saving account where I can save money but not an account to move my salary, He offered me a card and i told him im in a rush and he just asked for my ID, Cell number, address, and gave me the card and I left. Now im shocked that Im being called by absa stating im owing 700+ on the account and advised that its a cheque account and not savings, Firstly, incorrect information was provided to me and now im owing something I do not know, please advise as I need this t be sorted out immediately, the app stated Im earning R20k + and im not even earning R10000. Please can I have some one assist me as i went to branch and i was not assisted i was only provided agent's name. someone please gets back to me. the supervisor's name is Itumeleng
It has since improved with network since my complain, thank you MTN for being great network and service provider!'
We haven't had network in my area for more then a month!! I stay in lawley 1 and there is no network coverage at all. This sucks! Please do something about it. Or else I will port to a different network.
