I ordered supper for my mother and uncle, I have done so before no issue. My uncle was standing out side for an hour waiting for the delivery not a delivery car in site. Then I got a message from uber eats saying the driver left the food out side because no one answered the door. The driver as intelligent as he was took a photo of the food in his car on the floor, not out side showing the surroundings where he supposedly delivered it too. And that was that I tried calling uber eats help line, not helpful at all, you just get machine no person to talk to or get help from. I still get adds for under eats but will never use this company again and have told everyone and still do today warn people against uber eats, what was such a great and helpful system is not trust worthy and therefore pointless. And what is terrible for me is I tipped the driver and he got to burger meals from steers with cooldrinks and uber eats got my money. Who is the loser, only me. Very upsetting and disappointing and shocking I didn’t realise even food could be ****** from the person delivering.
I didn’t want to post this on social media but the call centre put me on hold and just left me hanging for a long time with no feed back. Saturday I bought over a grands worth of goods, of which one was a packet of steak, Sunday I opened the packet and the meat was off totally off I took a photo of the packet and put it in the trash as it was dinner time and Pick ‘n Pay was closed for returns. I am not happy I want my money back and I find the return system nonsense it is such an annoying process where is as the clients waste our time and money to go back to the shop and get what’s rightfully ours. The meat is off and I want my refund. I call the call centre as I work and could not get to the shop till the weekend again and unfortunately was not assisted. Terribly disappointing!
We went to the office in Blouberg, the consultant I didn’t take his name was arrogant and really off putting, but lady who I think is more office assistant she was lovely went out of her way to welcome us and try to assist with our enquiry. Her name is Nathierah Dollie and I know with her attitude and people skills she is a great asset to the company and she will go far in life where ever she chooses to work! She is brilliant!!!
On the 26 June 2024 I did my shopping at Pick n Pay Family store Brackenfell and what a brilliant experience I had, not the normal not so pleasant teller experience no, my teller I got Mrs Shirley Klopper was not only pleasant and seemed happy to be able to assist me( so refreshing, normally I have to greet first and sometimes one gets the impression the cashier feels they doing us a heck of an favour… ) nope not Mrs Kloppers she was welcoming, friendly and on it. One of my purchase items did not come off as the special it was marked as, Mrs Kloopers called management who came and pressed buttons and said she can carry on which she did and then this is where Mrs Kloppers went the extra mile for me who she does not know and I really appreciated this! She checked my slip and noted but still it didn’t go off she made the calculations and called management again and showed on the slip how the goods went at normal price and that there should be a cash refund of a few rands, now that is impressive service. She is a great assist to Pick n Pay family store and I hope they notice her and acknowledge her for her great attitude and work ethic, may she climb the corporate ladder quickly! Thank you again Mrs Kloppers keep up the brilliant work and never change your positive attitude and friendly smile!!!
Good morning, On Friday 26th July 2024 my partner and I stopped at Liquor city for a whiskey purchase as this is what my partner felt like. On arrival an lovely middle aged lady greeting introduced herself and her product she was promoting, we sampled the wine and between her knowledge, and pleasant manner and the wine itself, we purchased wine, even changed from whiskey to wine in no time. I wanted to bring across what an asset this lady was with promoting wines and I love that her age didn’t stand in her way, love the wine and love the companies attitude to using people otherwise over looked by heartless marketing company’s only wanting the youngsters… I unfortunately did not get her name but I know she is going places with her great attitude and I wish her well… and we new to Stellenbosch Hills brand but loving it!
Worst customer service ever! My friend and I went to KFC Sea point in the main road. No one came to assist us so we used the self order machine and place the order for food. I don’t drink coke and I asked the lady behind the counter if there is sprite she said no and I took her word for it and didn’t order cool drink on the self help machine. On the self help machine it only showed coke cooldrink available. Then standing waiting I thought to ask is there other cool drinks that are poured in cup from machine she looked at me and said there is sprite, I said okay perfect I would like to order it please and took out 20 rands to pay, she would not take my money said I must use the self help machine. I said but I don’t want to make a second card payment I just want to use my cash and she would not help me, needless to say this was very upsetting, frustrating and no matter what one said she would not help and all the staff just watch no one stepped in to help. Terrible attitude and I can say with out a doubly myself and my friend will not visit this KFC again and we will advise all our family and friends to stay away too. Horrible service. Yet while waiting for our order a traffic office came in and the ladies jumped to the self help machines to help him full of laughs and jokes. Then our order comes and I have to go back to get my friends coke that we ordered on the machine, and the ladies again wanted to argue with me that it was not part of the order, I eventually took out my till slip and showed her and she then gave it to me. I am not sure why people are working at a place that they clearly don’t care to keep up service , happy clients makes for good business and means one keeps your job. I would suggest for serious training and trust me there are millions out there looking for work, willing to do a good job. The two ladies names that where not helpful was ZIPHO and AZAXOLA
Worst service and unwelcoming attitude. The name on the till slip is YVONNE MAWONAWANGU . I walked in to the shop there was few people waiting I stood at the counter and this lady looked at me and few minutes later with a deep breath took my order. She was irritated, seemed like I was actually an irritation but she took my order I had to repeat my order twice, I said I would like feta and olives small pizza please, she still asked me thin or thick base. I said thin base please. I got my till slip and it says SMALL GREEK . I have ordered this before and sat it out 25 minutes waiting then my number is called and this Yvonne flops this roll on the counter, I asked her what is this I ordered a small pizza she said to me no this is what I ordered, and then she said there is no pizza on the menu with feta and olives. I told her I was not happy and this was not what I ordered and that I noted her attitude when I was placing my order. All she could repeatedly say was “why are you bad mouthing me” and I was not bad mouthing her , I stated the facts. No manager came out to assist everyone just stood watching me. I could not believe it and it was so frustrating and clear no one was going to help me or give my money back…. I have ordered there previously always the same thing. I will not return and I will make sure to tell my family and friends to stay away. I took the garlic loaf and ate it as I had no choice. Terrible staff and terrible / no manager presence. Very disappointed. I would suggest serious training and also not sure why the stuff are there that clearly don’t care , there are millions of people looking for work and willing to do a good job of it, one does not need to settle!
I want to complement Mrs Ntombethemba who works at Pick ‘n Pay hyper market in Brackenfell. She went above and beyond to assist me. She really stands out to me as an assist to Pick n Pay hyper market and she should move up to management and higher. She is not one of the average staff members, she actually wants to assist. I bought electricity with my card and lost the till slip, I phoned in and Mrs Ntombethemba took my details and actually went to find out if there was a way for me to get the electricity code again, and she called me back. Because I used a card, she could look it up. And she asked me to come in to the shop to get the code. I did so and was so grateful that I could get 500 rands worth of electricity and did not loose it. She is a super star in my world and I would say Pick n Pay look after her please she is GOLD! May Mrs Ntombethemba be blessed and grow from strength to strength!
Best experience with a lady at the till. And I must say this is rare now days…. Most till ladies just want to push through your shopping and get you done with out a hi or anything. But I had a magical experience with A lady at Pick n Pay Family store Brackenfell her name on her badge is Anovuyo and she was just so helpful! There was a special on the Pick ‘n Pay 500ml water bottles two, six packs for 60rand. She went out of her way to get the staff who works with the water to look if there was more then the guys brought the second six pack but when she scanned it, it didn’t go off the discounted total. She called the manager and got the discount. She is one in a million, great attitude and hope fully will climb up the ranks quickly! I was Mrs Anovuyo all of the best for the future and hope she never changes her great way with customers!
