My first order with Loot. Excellent experience from start to finish. Website stated item was in stock. Ordered the item on 27 November 2020, paid via EFT and delivery today - 2 December 2020. All my emails were answered and I was informed every step of the way. After ordering I saw the many bad reviews on here and honestly I was nervous, but no complaints here. A great online experience.
I was at your Primrose branch on Saturday morning between 09:30-10:00 to collect a credit card I was mortified to see 7 people in front of me in the customer service queue and only one lady manning the counter. There were 2 tellers open On the second weekend of a new month, you only have one person working at customer care! I couldn't wait all morning just for a card collection If you haven't got the staff to man the branch then don't bother opening ABSA you can courier my card to me I am not wasting more time waiting forever at Primrose Branch! Unacceptable
We had a general power failure on Wednesday night and went to Steers to buy food. We ordererd 2 x wacky wednesdays - 1 chicken & 1 beef, 1 cheesy chips and 2 x chocolate milkshakes. When we got home the burgers were ice cold and the "cheesy" chips literally had 3 squirts of cheese on them. The only thing up to standard were the 2 milkshakes! Obviously being wacky wednesday, they pre cook the patties and chicken breasts and just throw them on a bun when there is an order. What about fresh flame grilled - what a joke! More like re-constituted and the chicken was milk white - never saw a flame. As for the chips what a rip off! They were hot at least. This joy cost us R200. Not on steers - extremely Poor and inedible food.
Got the Hyper leaflet last night in our local newspaper. My husband is at Hyper Edenvale now and they have NO STOCK of the crystal valley 500gr butter which is on special at R29.99 each.
I wanted to buy 5
Where is the stock???
This is not the first time
Why advertise when you never have any stock and have customers waste their time and petrol and be Angry and Frustrated!
Can you explain why there are no repeat airings of programmes that are aired on MNet City Channel 115. Every other channel repeats ad nauseum not this one!
My particular Gripe relates to \The Affair\". If we don't get the episode on Saturday night it is not repeated. For some reason the Explora did not record 3 of the episodes of Season 1 which has now finished airing and is effectively gone as there were no repeats.
Please advise."
Yesterday afternoon I purchased a family size (520 g) PnP brand - Creamy pepper steak pie - description on the box said \Crisp shortcrust pastry base filled with slow cooked beef steak....\" UM NO! There was no REAL Meat of any description in this pie. In fact I was totally disgusted after I had taken 2/3 bites of it once cooked. I am a meat eater and what was in that pie was not steak by any means. Reading the ingredients at the back of the box, it states Filling 53% beef and then 24% modified maize starch! Uggghhh. I have vegetarian friends that eat a product called Seitan which is a \"wheat gluten\" meat substitute - just the wheat gluten sounds terrible and NO I've never eaten it. I surmise this is what made up the \"meat\" in my pie. The texture was totally off - slimy and smooth no firm and grainy texture that beef cubes normally have. Needless to say I binned the pie and there goes my R52 down the drain as well as a very off putting eating experience. At the price I am by no means expecting huge chunks of beef fillet in my pie but this was just so wrong. In fact I think I may never buy a pie from Pnp again. As for my dinner - it was some pie crust and pepper sauce."
My 76 year old mother had a bad fall and hurt her shoulder. Couldn't find a physio that could see her on the day. Looked on Google and found this Physio. Made appt and took Mom through. When we arrived - Claudette (Karen's mother and receptionist) told MOm it would cost R450. She said they only took cash no cards - warning bells should have gone off then! Too Stingy to even pay commission to banks for cards. Mom didn't have cash and handed over her medical aid card. After this Medical aid put a claim through for R850! This is Gross Overcharging for a session of physio! A specialist maybe! I went back to them stating this as Mom has a basic hospital plan and very little savings each year. Karen then phones my Mom and says she will refund her the R400. Never happened. Today when I follow up 2 weeks later am told they can't refund the money its fraudulent to do so and medical aids charge the Rates. Don't go to this money grubbing woman who doesn't care about patients just how many Rands are ringing in her coffer. To rip off an old lady is even Worse!!!!
I bought an Old El Paso Extra Mild Fajita Kit. Opened kit up to find the horrific and disgusting site of green / mouldy / rotten fajitas. The tortilla packet remains sealed and unopened. Expiry date of product April 2016
Its beginning of Feb! Needless to say my 11 year old daughter is totally \ grossed out\" and who could blame her coupled with the fact that these Kits are nowhere near cheap. On investigation - General Mills is a US company with a branch in SA. No one in SA can even be bothered to answer an email. When you phone the \"customer care line\" it's a joke that's not even South African. For a US company this is a poor show. Let's face it bad / no service / no care is common in SA."

I bought a new Nissan Almera from East Rand Mall in 2014. I have serviced it there as well. LOVE the car - unfortunately there is a problem with the left front headlamp - it's not working. We have replaced the bulbs numerous times to no avail. The headlamp itself is in some way faulty - we think it may be the connector.
This is a major safety issue and I have been pulled over by traffic cops who want to fine me. I called dealership 5/6 times on Friday 22nd - service advisor was always busy. Sent an email to Service Mngr - N Sirkoth on Friday at 13:52. NO response. Sent email to DP Lionel Pillay on Mon - 25th at 10:05. Got a missed call from him that afternoon around 16:30 apologizing for lack of service. I called him back yesterday morning and he said he was in a Sales meeting and would call me back. No call. I even sms'd - NO response.
What's worse than Zero service / interest - the DP not calling you back after complaining about it and promising he would. NO longer interested in this dealership. NIssan SA can you recommend a good one who is willing and prepared to help me sort this out?
