I bought Sasko Wholewheat rolls which were still raw and gooey inside. I have emailed, phoned and whatsapped the holding company, Pepsico with pictures, details etc, on numerous occasions. Each time they say they have escalated the matter, and I would receive an sms with a replacement voucher. I still have not had the voucher. This has been going on since December last year, and on principle, I am not giving up on this. I have spent a lot on cell phone calls to try speak to someone in charge, but to no avail. I am not a happy customer at all. Their customer service is atrocious. This company does not even deserve one star for their service.
I rate this company 5+ stars for customer service, prompt delivery, no hassles with after sales care, good communication and all round excellent online shopping experience. A huge shoutout to Fabian who was a pleasure to deal with. Keep up the good work Geewiz, I wish your business all the success it deserves.

I bought an electrolytic capacitor (call it item A) from this business for R51,75 today. They did not have stock of the second capacitor I needed so I went to another company to buy it, I enquired for interest sake how much (item A) cost if I bought it from them.....it would have cost me R5 for the same brand and value capacitor. I will not go near P&P Electronics or recommend them to anyone, what a ******* company.
I would like to acknowledge and commend the Walmer, Port Elizabeth branch of TWT for their outstanding customer service. A special thanks to Johan, Uys and Jose for always making me feel like a VIP and bending over backwards to ensure the best quality and after sales service. They always smile and greet with a handshake, the atmosphere in the branch is one of camaraderie and things get done. Well done guys, keep up the good work, it is noticed and appreciated.
Makro online support is a joke. I placed an order for cooking pots and they arrived damaged. I requested an exchange on 16 May 2023 but nothing happened. After three phone calls to the useless online support team and false promises, I changed my mind and requested a refund. I still heard nothing from anyone at Makro. I have written dozens of emails since then and no one at [email protected] or [email protected] bothers to respond to me. I have made countless calls to the "support" team and each time I am told they have escalated the matter. I have wasted a lot of time and money on phone calls to people who do not care. What else am I supposed to do to get the service I deserve? The "support" team won't put me through to a manager and head office is just as useless and unhelpful, I get told to contact the "support" team. I even tried the social media route and no one responds. I made another call to them today and was promised (once again) that I would receive an email from the courier to arrange a collection time, well this has not happened. This is very frustrating and I certainly will not order anything online from makro ever again. Lets see if anyone at makro has the decency to respond to this post.
I recently had tyres and shocks replaced at Tiger Wheel & Tyre 17th Quarter Shopping Centre, Walmer, Port Elizabeth. Their customer service and professionalism is exceptional. They even pointed out a developing exhaust leak on my vehicle. Branch manager, Johan Kitching, went out of his way to assist me, in fact, all of his staff I dealt with were friendly and a pleasure to deal with. They all made me feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Keep up the good work guys, your branch is better than the rest!!
I recently submitted a claim for accidental damage to my Garmin Drive GPS, Abigail Kemp from the Claims department dealt with my claim very professionally, my claim was finalized in three days, this is what I call excellent service.
I went into the store today to purchase a car seat organizer which was advertised on their website for R99, it was not on sale, it was a normal advertised price. The store charged me R119,99 and when I queried it I was told I must read their T&Cs which state whatever bull he was telling me. I was told it is very difficult for him to keep the website up to date. I told him it is false advertising and it is not my problem as a customer if he can't keep his website current. He then said I must not tell him how to run his business. I told him off and left. There is no customer care, it is his way or the highway, I guess I will not support or promote this store, especially with the attitude of the owner.
