This is the worst medical aid I have even encountered particularly when it comes to pre-authorisation. Every time one needs to be admitted you have to move from pillar to post. It's claiming from them is trying to trick them. Zero empathy and endless co-payments even with the most comprehensive cover.
Sleepmasters Protea Glen is the worst! In fact it seems the whole franchise is a ****. I purchased a bed and was told it will be delivered after a few days. When I followed up, I was told the bed is a special order and will only be available after 3 weeks. When I called in 3 weeks, I was told the supplier is closed and the bed will only come in the new year. It's exactly 6 weeks after my purchase and I have not seen the bed. The sales lady (Nomsa) kept on dissaperaing and telling lies. From the cost of delivery to the date. Everytime I follow up the manager just tells me she is absent and not picking up the phone and we start everything from scratch. I paid for delivery in store and now I'm told to ensure I have physical cash to give the driver money again when they deliver. I am now worried of what quality bed will arrive, if it does. I wish I had read the reviews before spending my money at sleepmasters. Such Disrespect!
A decoder payment plan has been added to my credit profile without my consent. How DSTv give me credit I didn’t apply for and I’ve apparently used up the credit. This is ***** in my view. I don’t even have an avenue to cancel
The Nairobi service is more expensive than the national carrier and only offers 20kg baggage allowance and extra kg cost 11 USD!! If this is not ridiculous, I don’t know what it is. It will cost me less to cancel my flight than to pay for extra luggage. Bye Airlink, you will never see me in Nairobi again!
Makro called us a week ago confirming that they will replace or refund our faulty television set. We were given a reference number and told to go to the store for the replacement, an email confirmation will be sent. To this day, no confirmation was received. We drove all the way to the store only to be told that they have not been sent authorization for the credit and the supplier is closed until next year. It’s officially two months being moved from pillar to post by Makro, maybe it’s not the best place to buy electronics after all. Our Christmas is ruined by their empty promises!
We bought a 65 inch television set in October in less than a month the screen became faulty. I logged a call with Makro and they referred me to the supplier. The supplier referred me back to Makro saying they cannot diagnose a tv set without sending someone for an assessment. I have called Makro every second day for the past 4 weeks and each time, someone promises to do something. My issue was ultimately assigned to a consultant (Mpho) 2 weeks into the query and advised someone will be sent. They took the address, including nearest landmarks to ensure the agent doesn't get lost. When we followed up on Monday, we are now told that agents are not allowed/ available to attend to our area and we need to explore courier services for them to assess the television. Why were we not told this from the beginning? and why pursue these empty promises for close to a month? This was the last we heard from them. I do not understand why the consultants lied about arranging someone to assess the television. I will not even go into the amount of times they never called back as promised. I have lost all faith in Makro as a brand, most importantly one that has respect for its customers.
