Postbank Group Savings account

Kindly assist, my mother and other ladies have a club account with Postbank and one other lady lost their family member when they go to the branch like they normally do to withdraw money they are told that they can’t assist anymore and because their account is no longer with them they must go to Standard Bank to make the withdrawal but at Standard Bank they sending them bank to the post office to get a document that they do not know .. they went to Shoprite to try and withdraw as advised but they also couldn’t assist..What is the process and who must assist with the account? They do not have a card to take the money at Standard Bank atm , it’s a group account
