Worst experience of my life. Joined them 2021. They failed to obtain a court order till all my creditors withdrew 2022. Mind you i was paying through PDA. I sent countless emails from Jan2022 till July2022 and called countless times and they were nowhere to be found. Only in August 2022 they send an email saying we can proceed to get a court order. At that time I was without any protection for almost a year. Currently Im stuck with their credit bureaus flag. I even took them to NCR. However due to backlogs and the recent NCR cyber issues my case is abit slow. But I will get my justice eventually.
So I have been with discovery medical aid since 2012 and today they showed me flames. My medical aid funds were depleted so I tried to make use of my day-to-day extender benefit and guess what? EPIC FAIL!! I was told by discovery not so long ago that to use the day to day extender benefit I must login to Connected care and book a virtual consultation. So since on the 18 November 2024 I woke up not feeling well, I booked the appointment and the health care facility did not honor the appointment. I booked the second one and still nothing and my condition was not getting any better, so having tried the virtual consultation twice, I then decided to go to a doctor that at least appears on the day to day extender benefit network. Well guess what, Discovery did not pay that bill. I called them today to explain to them the issue or problem I was faced with(Health care facilities not honoring the virtual consultation appointments) and the lady I was taking to hangup on me soon as I was done explaining my story. I am very disappointed with discovery for not paying the doctors bill even when they are aware that their connected care platform failed, even when they are aware that I made numerous attempts to stay within the prerequisites of the day to day extender benefit. Shame on you discovery, to think that next year you will be imposing a tariff increase on us is just a shame.
MTN is really failing us as customers. I bought the 10mbs uncapped LTE wifi that comes with a free to use router on 28Feb2024. DSV was supposed to deliver it on Friday 1March2024 which did not happen. And mind you they want me personally because they must get my proof of adress and id copy for rica purposes and do their biometric scans and all that. So I had tp cancel all my plans and await delivery which did not happen. Only yesterday 5March2024 was my delivery made but guess what, my router even now is barred from network and MTN agents I spoke to today say its because the activations department has not done their job which is to rica and activate my sim. And mind you Im talking here about agents who refused to assit and to me I must call the activations department, one even dropped the phone to my ear. Mind you i have already paid upfront for connection for this month in the midst of all this. Im very very disappointed in this poor service.
On 11November I noticed that my account which I normally pay R548 was now escalated to R723. I went to live chat and spoke to an agent(Khanyi Mkhize) who adviced that it was due to an error on DSTV for a disney plus subscription which I dont have and was promised that it will be rectified. I was given a reference INC-1745264 I later checked after the said turnaround time and still my account was not rectified and spoke to SbongaOkuhle. F who told me that the Dstv compact discount was not app**** that is why my balance was higher. So it will be rectified after 24hours and still it was never rectified. Later on I spoke to Charlotte Kea who did another escalation and gave a reference INC-1750646. Still nothing was done with the error on my account. Today I came back to livechat again for feedback and was met by yet another *********** agent by the name ofPaballo Radebe who failed dismally to resolve my query. Im now fed up because now my account has an owing balance of R808. The amount keeps growing.
KGOTSO from Bloemfontein Uber eats was supposed to deliver my order. He then went to the wrong adress and claimed to have left it with the sucurity there. I had to drive to where the order is supposed to be and funny he did not even live it there. I ordered from KFC. He took off with my order little *******. HTV905FS
My account has been over charged. I suddenly have a balance brought forward of R117. 09 and I wrote a hello Peter complaint on the 24June2023 regarding payment errors that were made on my account, they were rectified and I even paid more than what was stated following the rectification. Customer no:**********9 I always pay R548 inclusive of my showmax subscription. But suddenly now I have a R11. 09 balance brought forward and my extraview decoder is now charged separately R564 as if I have 2 dstv compact subscriptions. Who ever is busy making a mess of my account must be dealt with decisively because i cannot be complaining about the same thing over and over.

Its now almost 2 months since I was promised the R500 woolworths voucher by this company but still nothing. I quoted with them on 29March2023 and they since then have been escalating my query to sales department. of they cant be reliable with mere vouchers, how do they expect us to trust them with our valuables. I entered into a pricelock 24 month contract with DSTV on the 5th of March2021 and was told that I will be getting a Explora decoder,wifi connector and installation together with a 24month compact subscription. All for the price of R449. I chose the option to include another decoder for R49 which I was going to use for extra view. My fee in total was to be R498. To date I have only received one decoder(the extra view decoder). I have also been paying R560 which is more than the amount I agreed to on pricelock contract. Todate I have been on and off phone calls and have sent countless emails and yet still no primary decoder. On the 19May was the last time I called and sent 2 emails and was told that the courier was given the decoder to deliver to the installer and that I will get an update. On 26May I called and sent an email to have my account payment rectified and on 28 May it was rectified and my account was credited. And again no update with regards to the primary decoder,no decoder and absolute silence as usual regarding the delivery and installation thereof. I sent another email on 1st June 2021 and was assigned ENQUIRY REFERENCE NUMBER: 34450757. Todate I have not even received feed back on this reference.I have tried and now I am extremely exhausted.
