I only selected one star as it does not give you an option for zero!!! I bought something from a person on Facebook Marketplace in October of 2022. She sent it to a Pudo locker...it never got to me. This resulted in months of back and forth...countless emails and phone calls from me to try and resolve this issue. Each time I was promised an investigation and feedback...each time I was the one who had to call yet again! I was eventually informed that the manager on duty at Pudo at the time of my parcel, recorded it as being delivered in error, and that he would be liable for reimbursing me....this is where the headache really started! after months more of back and forth, I was informed that since the person who sold me the item is the "'account holder"' they can only reimburse her and she would then have to refund me...I can't even get hold of this lady to get her to apply for it. I have been attempting to speak to Colleen Sefatsa from the Courier Guy today as it is her who sent me this email. a total of 4 phone calls in a row have been put through to her and cut off...very professional!! This is really disgusting service and I will NEVER be using them again! A parcel I shoould have received in December 2022 and I am still fighting this issue in May 2023??? Absolutely ridiculous!!!!
My husband and I were booked in to spend the night at Sibaya Lodge on Saturday 22 May, as we were attending the Moonlight Night Spa at Mangwanani Spa that evening. We made our booking through Agoda and all went very smoothly! On arrival we were met by a very friendly, courteous lady, who quickly confirmed our booking, checked us in and directed us to our room. The room was lovely with possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! We had a beautiful sea view. In the morning we went down for breakfast and were amazed at the incredible spread provided. Everything from fruit and yoghurt, to cereals, ****ins, croissants and bacon, egg and sausages was available. Fresh fruit juices, tea and coffee were also served. Everything was fresh and delicious!
I booked the Moonlight Night Spa for myself (Priscilla Nozaic)and my husband (Brendon Nozaic) at Mangwanani Sibaya Casino in Durban for Saturday 22 May 2021. It was to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary. On arrival we were shown where to change into our robes and lock away our valuables, then taken to the dining hall for welcome drinks and beverages, where we were seated at Table three. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. We were then taken for our first treatment: the head, neck and shoulder massage. This took place in a big thatched room along with approximately 10 -15 other people. We were seated in two rows, one on the left and one on the right, and in pairs. In order to do the massage we were asked to take the robe off the top part of our body whilst the the******, standing behind, held a towel up in front of us...I didn't not find this very effective as the people sitting in the rows to the left of me would still have been able able to see in-between the towel while I was exposing myself. Having de-robed, and with a towel now wrapped around my chest, the massage began. The entire way through the massage there were a group of ladies that were laughing and chatting loudly to each other in pairs, and even at times from across the room. A few times there were cellphone messages alerts going off and once where a cell phone actually rang and a call was taken. I mentioned a few times that this was unacceptable and annoying, and my the****** very apologetic. The ladies where asked numerous times to be quiet, but simply ignored this. On completion of this treatment, we returned to the dining hall for dinner. Our waitress asked how the treatment was and I told her. She told the manageress who came over and apologised and said that she would separate us from the group of ladies for the next treatment. We then went along with three other couples to the next treatment (foot and leg massage). All the people in our thatched room were quiet and trying to enjoy the treatment. However, the same group of ladies, who were now in another room quite some way across from us, were now even louder and we could still hear them loudly and clearly...thus ruining our second treatment. At this stage others that were with us also started to complain that this was ridiculous. On returning to the dining hall I again informed the manageress of our experience. She again apologised and said that she had been to them a number of times asking them to quiet down. She also told us that these ladies had arrived under the influence. Our third and final treatment was relatively quieter and it seemed like eventually they had managed to get the ladies to settle to some degree, however by this stage our entire experience had been ruined. Despite a lovely setting, wonderful staff and delicious food, our main reason for this booking: which was to enjoy a romantic evening together, relaxing and unwinding, was a complete waste! We left more tense and frustrated, that we had arrived, and with migraines. I had also chosen to book us into the Sibaya Lodge for the evening, thinking that we would be so nice and relaxed and I didn't want to spoil it by having to drive home now, despite the fact that we live in Durban. However, in hindsight, we could have rather just driven home as our experience at the Spa was anything but relaxing. I must just add though that the Lodge itself was lovely and we have no complaints regarding our accommodation at all. While I appreciate that the manageress was apologetic, I do not feel that it was enough. Something should have been done. Knowing the ladies arrived under the influence, and after numerous attempts at getting them to settle had failed, I believe they should have been asked to leave out of respect for the rest of the customers. At the back of Client Consultation & Evaluation Information Card it states: " Mangwanani reserves the right of admission at all times during the treatment and hospitality process and shall not tolerate indecent behaviour. " The selfish, inconsideration and blatant disregard of the other patrons of the establishment by this group of women, in my opinion, constitutes indecent behaviour. Based on this experience I do not think I would readily book at Mangwanani Spa anytime in the future. I have given 1 star simply for the fact that the Spa itself and staff were lovely and I am sure it could have been a lovely experience were it not for these unfortunate occurrences.
We purchased vouchers a few years ago while attending a wedding expo. Last month, I contacted Bongi to try to arrange a getaway for the April school holidays. It was very last minute and everywhere was already fully booked, but Bongi assured me she would make a note in her diary and let me know as soon as anything suitable became available. She soon contacted me to let me know that there was availability at Castleburn Resort in the Drakensburg...what an amazing place! We spent the most wonderful week in a five star resort that we would never have been able to afford without the incredible discount we got thanks to our Breakfree voucher! A special mention must be made of Bongi who really went the extra mile to ensure we were able to book just the right holiday for us! Can't wait for our next Breakfree getaway!
