I am writing this review with absolute fury and disappointment regarding our recent family stay at the Sun International Vacation Club. We pay a massive amount of money to secure a holiday here, expecting premium service, relaxation, and above all, safety. Instead, we were left feeling completely violated. Throughout our stay, we noticed "small things" going amiss, which was irritating enough. But the final straw happened on our very last day when a prominent clothing item was completely ****** from our unit. It is completely unacceptable that a high-end resort charging luxury prices cannot control its own personnel. We trusted this establishment with our family’s belongings, only to be targeted by the very staff employed to service the rooms. When you pay top dollar for a holiday, you shouldn't have to live in paranoia or constantly lock down your personal items from the cleaning crew. The blatant lack of integrity and security here is shocking. We are incredibly angry about how this ruined what was supposed to be a peaceful family getaway. Security and management need to wake up and take accountability for the ******* running around their units. Will absolutely think twice before returning or spending our hard-earned money with Sun International again. Disgraceful.

I was utterly and totally disappointed with the porter services at the wild coast sun . ON 26 May 2026 my hubby and I both over 60 checked in at wild coast sun hotel .We had no issues with checking in for 3 days but when we went looking for a porter to get our luggage from the car the issues began .Firstly we went over to a porter,Muzukisi who informed us that no porter with an empty trolley was a available we needed to wait for one Whilst we were waiting we saw a porter Mlandeli ,moving with a fully loaded trolley towards the car park Muzukisi asked my husband to follow him and ask him to help him with getting our luggage on his way back ,which my husband did. I waited in the reception area but after approximately 15 minutes later my husband came from the car park to the reception area ,which is not very close ,rolling two suitcases, bags on his shoulders, and 5 lithe water bottle in his hand I could see he was really exhausted carrying all the stuff Mlandelj was behind hin with am empty trolley but when my husband asked if he would help to take the heavy overloaded luggage he wS carrying to our room Mlandeli refused and said another lady who was at the reception area asked him to go with her to get her luggage and he ignored my husband who was battling to carry all that luggage even though my husband told him he had asked him earlier when he followed him to get the luggage He just didn't bother and told my husband to get someone else at the reception to help him This is not the kind of service I expected from sun international and am furious with what transpired as my husband has health issues . The said porter ignored him and left him to carry all the stuff which my husband assumed the porter would take in his empty trolley that he came back from the car park with and which the porter refused to help him although he was just behind my husband He was more interested in helping another person who was not in such dire need of help. This is unacceptable

Sun Vacation Club (Sun City Lefika) - worst customer service ever ! They don't reply to emails, unless it's sent mutliple times to mulitple people. Stay away - you better off, finding accomodation OUTSIDE Sun City and doing a day visit !

While I expected a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Suncity , the behavior and attitude of some of your staff members made the experience unpleasant and frustrating. Throughout my visit, several staff members were rude, dismissive, and unprofessional when addressing simple requests and concerns. Instead of feeling welcomed as a guest, I felt ignored and treated with disrespect. No matter which area you go too, staff members have the same attitude. You can't even get a simple "Helo" from anyone, and this is not the first time i am having this experience. Maybe sun international needs to re-look at the competency and hospitality of their staff members, especially the fact that this is a hospitality organization. I was deeply disappointed by the lack of courtesy, professionalism, and customer care shown during my stay. A positive guest experience depends greatly on staff attitude, and unfortunately, this was slacking

Dear Management, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my recent stay at Sun City, which was extremely disappointing and far below the standards I expected. Over the course of the week, I had a total of three rooms booked, and unfortunately, the experience across all bookings was consistently poor. Upon making my booking at the Cabanas under a promotional offer, I was informed that I would receive 200 credits. However, when I later enquired at the MVG desk about these points, I was told that the credits should have been processed before checking out. This requirement was never communicated to me at the time of booking or during my stay. In addition to this, the staff member at the MVG desk handled the matter in a very unprofessional manner. He was rude and dismissive, repeatedly stating that I should have read the terms and conditions. He referred to a slip provided with the room card, which to me was exactly that a slip that did not look like it had any important information on it besides the room number At no point was the redemption process explained to me, which I find unacceptable. Unfortunately, this was not the only issue during my stay. The cleanliness of the Cabanas room was substandard — the shower had visible water marks and did not appear properly cleaned my sisters room which was next door had ****roaches around the bar fridge area. We then had a second booking under my husband’s name at the Sun City Main Hotel (revamped rooms), where the situation was even worse. The room was not clean, with sweet packets, a hairbrush, and other debris found underneath the bed. Additionally, the key card system malfunctioned, causing significant delays while waiting for assistance. To make matters worse, on the final night of our stay, we encountered a ****roach on the fridge, which is completely unacceptable for a resort of this calibre. Overall, the service across multiple touchpoints within Sun City was consistently poor. This experience did not align with the reputation of the resort, and I feel that the standard of service and accommodation is highly overrated. Given the extent of these issues, I request that this matter be investigated and that appropriate steps be taken to address both the service shortcomings and hygiene concerns. I would also appreciate feedback on how you intend to resolve this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.

Would give zero stars for service and cleanliness! Waited over 30mins for just two poached eggs at breakfast. Housekeeping attitude and service is the worst I have ever experienced! Day 1 cleaning was good. Day 2 was shocking! Used glasses and coffee cups were not washed and just left dirty exactly where we put them. Towels were not replenished accordingly and were just dumped in a pile in the bathroom. Soap was not replenished. The carpet in the rooms is actually disgustingly dirty! My 1 year old was crawling around the room only to find his feet and knees had gone black with dirt! Gross! Called Housekeeping to tell them about the poor cleaning service, I was met with a don't care attitude. Asked for a bath towel since ours were not replaced, 2 calls to Housekeeping and 1 VERY angry call made to reception...my bath towel finally arrived ONE HOUR LATER!! Absolutely appalling and pathetic service for a so-called "4 star" establishment. Rather stay at one of the other hotels and keep your sanity.
