I ordered things for a pet on Takealot (paid via PayJustNow), I ended up having to cancel the order before it shipped because we lost the pet. Takealot processed the refund, but when it came to PayJustNow updating my account they made one heck of a mess! The order total was R1,839.00, PayJustNow only refunded R190 off my account. The online chat portal is very unhelpful, when you phone it always just rings (no one answers even if you phone at different times during the day), and they take ages to reply to an email. I sent an email to them regarding the incorrect refund amount on 05/05/2026 (2 days after I cancelled the order). I only received a reply on 12/05/2026. I answered the lady's question via an email reply the same day. No feedback received until 19/05/2026, a day after I sent a follow-up email. The feedback was that the matter was escalated to the merchant team. No feedback or correction received to date. My next installment is due today and they are already threatening with penalty fees if it's not paid by COB today. BUT they can't fix a refund mistake THEY made since 05/05/2026 already!!!!
I was on maternity leave and only received a very small portion of my salary which caused me to get behind on a lot of my accounts. In January I made arrangements to try and pay a bit extra on my account however it is difficult as I have to catch up with all the accounts I got behind on and I told that to the person I made the arrangement with. On Thursday 11/03/2021 (after I have already purchased a Just 4 U bundle - 1GB everyday for 3 days) they switched my line off, without any notification thereof whatsoever. I made a payment of R370 that same afternoon (which by the way was supposed to pay my 6 month old baby's milk) but my line wasn't turned on. When I phoned the day after (on the Friday 12/03/2021) the lady I spoke to(whose name I didn't write down) said that if I pay 50% of the outstanding balance they'll reactivate my line. I had to scratch the money together because I just don't have any money, and so on 16/03/2021 I paid another R1000 on my account. When I phoned Vodacom to ask them to reactivate my line the woman said that if I don't pay the whole outstanding amount they won't reactivate the line. I have already paid more than half the outstanding amount in this month alone!!!!! I have paid over R1700 and want Vodacom to keep their promise of reactivating my line IMMEDIATELY!!!!! I need my phone to work, if I can't work how am I supposed to earn my salary to pay them at the end of the month?! I only have just over R700 left to pay and will catch that up by trying my best to pay a little extra each month from now. But if Vodacom doesn't reactivate my line ASAP I promise I will cancel my contract and tell everyone not to take a contract with them!!!!!! I have been a loyal customer with Vodacom since my first cellphone and have always paid my account on time, this 1 time that I have a salary issue and they do this!! I also want Vodacom to give me back the 1GB everyday for 3 days from the Just 4 U data bundle I lost due to my network being turned off! I trust that you wil attend to my complaint timeously, if not I will take this matter further.
