DHMS is a nightmare to deal with…
A one star rating is way too much for this provider. Discovery H used to be one of my best providers back in 2018 but all that has changed. Im actually at my wits end with this medical aid. Every consultation l do, the claim is not paid. I have to constantly fight for any benefit to be paid out. Mind you l use their so called network providers. Just last month,l had to see a specialist. Knowing well their tricks,l called to get their written authorisation before my consultation, which they approved, I subsequently went for my consultation and when the Specialist submitted the claim they declined it. I had to call and do numerous follow ups. Till now, nothing has been done, but this is not the end. So now l decided to take my kids for a mere dental check up, and again l called to check which dentist l must use that they will cover. To my not so surprise, the only dentist under their network is 30 kms away. Guys you are kidding me right…. DHMS what happened to you??

Its been 3 years and still happy
Discovery Health tops up my top 5 best Service providers in the whole world. I remember l joined them after leaving a closed scheme,4 days after my policy inception date before l even paid my first contribution,l was admitted in hospital and they covered everything...l will never leave these guys.
