Samson thanks a million for the assistance with sorting out the power and that on a Friday night at 8:30. Samson went beyond and above 🙏
Saw add on https://www.jeep.co.za/renegade regarding the Limited edition that is advertised as R455.580. We went to Jeep Menlyn to look at the vehicle just to be informed that they sell the Limited for R495.000. We asked regarding the price difference and were told that they were not aware of the special and it is not applicable to the Renegades they have available. There is only one Jeep dealer in Pretoria, so where do you then buy a Jeep Renegade on the advertised prize on Jeeps website if not from them ? If you are on jeep.co.za and want to book a test drive as well then you are also referred to the Menlyn dealer if you live in Pretoria. The answer I got back from the SA Consumer Complaints: ---- Suppliers are not allowed to falsely advertise, as per the CPA. I would suggest you contact Jeep SA Head office, and insist on purchasing the vehicle at the advertised price. ---- We did contact the Jeep SA Head office and their reply was that they cannot comment on prices the dealers ask for their vehicles, this is very confusing. They also said that the renegades are out of stock, but at the Menlyn dealer there are still two available. How is it possible that a dealer can have a different price on a vehicle as advertised ?
Bought a inverter which arrived with all wheels broken and extremely noisy. Impossible to sleep or work with inverter on because of noise. Phoned supplied who recommended to return the unit and get a refund. Emailed onedayonly multiple times already with NO response on the requested return of the product. Absolutely pathetic, DO NOT BUY from them.
I hereby wish to express my disappointment and unhappiness in the way that MTN handled the apparent migration to a “new system”. I went to the MTN store Queens Corner the end of January 2020 to confirm my upgrade eligibility for 27 February 2020 and it was confirmed by them. I went back to them on 27 February 2020 to upgrade to an iPhone XR and was told that there is a shortage of iPhones all around. I did phone various MTN stores and none had the iPhone XR I am looking for. On 2 March 2020 I got hold of the iStore Brooklyn which confirmed that they do have an iPhone XR available on the contract I wanted. I took leave from work to go to the iStore (still under the impression that I could upgrade) to complete all the necessary documentation for the upgrade and waited more than an hour while the iStore tried to do the upgrade for me, just to be told that apparently there is a new system all MTN customers are being migrated to and that they (iStore) will have to get back to me the following day after which the upgrade could be done. Since 2 March 2020 I have been phoning iStore to find out regarding my upgrade just to be told that they do not have any feedback yet. Today 5 March 2020 I decided to follow this up myself and after more than an hour of being transferred to various departments at MTN I was told that I can only now upgrade end of May 2020 since I have been moved to the new system, how ridiculous is this!!!. I am VERY unhappy about this as NO COMMUNICATION has been sent to me regarding the system change which affects the upgrade term. I have taken off from work to apply for the upgrade at the iStore, spent many hours on the phone trying to find an iPhone at various MTN and iStore’s just to be told today that I did all this for nothing. This is very bad MTN, I want you to still approve my upgrade for end of February 2020. I do understand the change in the new system but that is for future upgrades, it would have been a total different situation if I had been aware of all these internal changes !!!!
