i have purchased a Chev Bakkie from Heritage Auto and i have tried to be patient with them. its been three months now and the issue of the vehicle still has not been sorted. Therefore i requested either for them to cancel the deal or to purchase something else by them or cancel the deal completely. they have sent the attached settlement letter to Nedbank. Herewith the information since purchasing the vehicle: 8th March Day of purchasing. 12th sent back for minor fix ups. 25th march received number plates. 8th April Bakkie was sent away for a new head. 10th May I received the Bakkie back. 18th May was then sent away again for the crank shaft and the turbo. (Apparently their report is saying we damaged the turbo but only after 8 days getting it back) 18th May I still dont have the Bakkie. i have to communicate with the mechanic as they dont communicate with us regarding the status of the bakkie. The owner also told my husband that the vehicle is fixed but according to the mechanic at the time it wasn't fixed. My husband and myself had endless problems and its cost me a great deal in fact im paying installments on a vehicle I don't have in my possession. We sent two emails onto the dealer but no response and cannot get hold of the owner. its shocking how they running a business but i have left it in Ombudsman as well as Nedbank hands.
