DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN!!! He has ****med many people, including my mom, and he is totally non-responsive and does not accept responsibility for his wrong doings. My mom has had non-stop issues with her solar set up since April 2023. He has been paid in full yet there are still issues with this system which he promises to correct but never does. My mom has been trying to get the issue resolved for months and now we refuse to stay silent. You should, under no circumstances, trust this person to do anything for you. After all, for someone who does solar, intercoms, trailer building and electrics, this is merely a jack of all trades and a master of NONE!!!!!

If I could give ZERO stars I would. This man took a deposit of R23 000 from us, worked for 6 days and ran away with our money. He hasn't even had the decency to respond to any of our messages or requests to get our money back. DO NOT USE THIS MAN! He works with his wife, drives a black bakkie and will promise you the world, only to let you down...
I ordered the 22 canvas special on black Friday in 2019 and just never had a chance to send my images through. The staff at Canvas and More were so patient with me and said I could submit my images when I was ready. I eventually did it in the beginning of November and I received my order this week. I absolutely love them! I also got updates regarding my order every step along the way which was fantastic!
Everything about this place is wonderful . The food is divine and the play area is awesome. Lovely staff. #SupportLocal
I have had the WORST online shopping experience with Makro this holiday season! I ordered a tablet as a Christmas gift on the 9th of December and the order was processed to completion. On the 11th of December, I saw the order was still being processed so I sent an email to the Makro Online Support email address and to date, I am still waiting for a response! I began calling the Call Centre on the 17th of December to try and ascertain when I would be receiving the order. I was then advised that there was no stock of the tablet! This had never been conveyed to me prior to that. On the 20th of December, I was told there was still no stock. On the 21st of December, I called again and eventually asked them to cancel the order as they could not tell me when they would receive the stock and if it would be in time for Christmas. I was advised that I would receive a refund within 7 - 10 working days. On the 31st of December, I received an invoice for my order (even though it was already paid for and confirmed) and was advised it would be delivered shortly. I emailed back to say that I had cancelled the order and that they should not deliver it - I am also STILL waiting for a response on that email. On the 31st of December, I received an SMS to say the order was on the way to me. The courier called, however, I was on holiday and advised them that they needed to take the tablet back to Makro as the order had been cancelled. On the 2nd of January, I contacted the call centre again only to be told that they did try to deliver the order to which I replied that it had been cancelled and I was waiting for my refund. The lady advised that it would take 10 - 14 working days for a refund but that the store and finance department had not yet confirmed the cancellation. She told me she would call me back and never did. Then I called again on the 6th of January, and I was told the store had still not confirmed... the lady I spoke to said she would email the store and get back to me. Today, as I have still not been contacted, I called the call centre AGAIN and was told that she could see I cancelled the order on Monday the 6th... this is TOTALLY incorrect and if they went back on their recordings they would know this. The lady I spoke to said there is nothing we can do as the store has not replied to the email so she doesn't know when it will be cancelled! I then asked to speak to a manager as I am getting extremely irritated and I was just placed on hold... I held the line for a FURTHER TWENTY MINUTES until eventually I just gave up and ended the call. I am absolutely DISGUSTED by the fact that I cannot get any information regarding the cancellation and the money that is RIGHTFULLY mine to be refunded! This has been the worst experience and I will never make any purchases from Makro online again! The email address for online support is clearly not monitored as I am yet to receive a response on THREE emails I have sent and the call centre just doesn't get back to me and also can't help because the store apparently has to do everything... what is the point of a call centre if nothing can be done from their side??? I do not recommend Makro Online shopping!
I keep receiving messages and calls from MBD claiming that I have overdue Direct Axis and Galaxy accounts. I have never had such accounts and when they call they ask for a Nina Malan. I am not this person and I have requested on numerous occasions that they remove my number from their listing but they don't!! My husband called on Wednesday to ask them to remove my number and now... they are messaging him about the outstanding accounts!!! This is absolutely shocking and the fact that nobody can understand that we are not who they are asking for is ridiculous... should we give a DNA sample??? PLEASE STOP CALLING ME!!!!!!!!!!
