Scheduling of appointments for both installation and repairs are poor. Tracker units installed are of poor quality. My unit was installed in August 2024 and turned faulty 6 October 2024 according to the app. I had to pay a R600 fee for them to come and repair it even it was installed for only 2 months. While in a dispute with them, debit orders were raised twice already WITHOUT permission. WHATCH THE SPACE FOR THERE STANDARD REACTION ON BAD RATINGS. We have timeshare with Flexiclub. We have been at La Montagne, Balito 36 years ago and decided to book here again this week. The unit is beautiful, and so is the view. It is not good equipped at all, especially for self catering. There is no casserole for braaivleis. The gas braai outside has a problem. It takes ages to warm up and even more time to get the meat edible. There is no roof over the braai, and makes it difficult to braai when it is drizzling. There is no protection from the constant wind either. There are no oven gloves in the apartment, and the lady at reception told me it is because there is no oven in the unit, but one needs oven gloves to take the food from the microwave as well. The cleaner we had this week, daily took something from the unit to change, but forgot to bring the clean ones back....be it towels, sheets or dish cloths. We occupied a 4 -bed unit, but some things we had only 3 of...and the same lady at reception told me "...but do you need four of everything if you are only two people?" The answer is actually "yes"
I never had as bad service with this company as lately at MTN Heidelberg Mall. I've upgraded my device last year. The consultant assured me that my device will be insured. Last week my screen got damaged and I put in a claim, after confirming again that I was insured. Pinnacle Marketing, handling the insurance, informed me today that my new device wasn't insured. I still paid insurance premiums for my old device as MTN never informed them of the upgrade. So the screen of my new device will not be repaired. MTN Heidelberg Mall first blamed Pinnacle Marketing for not getting the info from me last year. Then they blamed me for not informing Pinnacle Marketing of my upgrade. I. However didn't even know where my phone was insured, as MTN handled that and my premiums were deducted with my subscription fees as one amount. Then MTN Heidelberg Mall came with a copy of my contract, where it stated that I didn't want insurance for my latest device, which is utter nonsense. Why would any body pay a monthly premium if one didn't want insurance? Why did MTN Heidelberg Mall then didn't stop the old premium-deduction? Bad service Not trustworthy employees there
