I have recently been keeping my money in my savings account and only transferring into my cheque account as needed. On the 31 Dec 2024 I made a payment using my virtual account, I transferred money from my savings account for this to go through and it did. 3 days later I logged on to my account to see that my account is in arrears by exactly the same amount as the payment that I made. When I first queried this via the secure chat no one seemed to be able to assist, I tried the call center as well and was sent from pillar to post to different teams. Finally one agent was able to see this 2nd payment as a ‘pending’ transaction on their side but could not assist furthe. I sent more queries via secure chat and another consultant first denied seeing the transaction then later admitted to seeing it and asked me to forward screenshots for her to escalate. I received no follow up from this and I still have no details as to what happened but they have now ‘corrected’ it. Make sure you are aware of money leaving your account! The 2nd payment that was supposedly made had no trace via my transaction history.
Pathetic service. I purchased 2 chicken burgers with cheese from this branch as take aways and when I opened up my meal there was no cheese on the burger. When I called to complain about this to the manager - Saahir - I was told that he had noticed this when the order what ready and sent it back for the staff to add cheese. I cannot fathum how this was not then checked again before sending out the order considering he was aware of this. The way the superviser handled this was pathetic and disappointing.
Extremely disappointed with the haircut I received at the Atruim branch. I am unhappy about the result of my hair cut and my fringe was cut so short - it is not something I can fix. My appointment was on the 22nd December and I have received no feedback on my complaint to date. Would not recommend Trudy as a hairstylist. Very upset and disappointing.
By far the WORST service I have received. The Sparks road branch delivered our food 2 hours after it was ordered and after much nagging. We had to constantly phone and find out where our order was and was told they would phone back to update us but we never received any calls. When the food finally arrived, it was missing toppings. The manager was no help at all and did not even hear our complaint out. Will not be purchasing from this branch again and would never suggest it to anyone.
I recently purchased a Fossil watch on superbalist and it arrived 2 days earlier than scheduled. I was super excited to open it as I purchased it as a gift for my husband. When I opened the box it was to my surprise that the box was old and clearly tampered with, the seals on the side were broken. I opened the watch box just to find it empty! I’m sure you can understand my frustration and I immediately called customer service. I was just told to log it as an exchange. Extremely disappointed in the service received and the fact that nothing is being done. I am still waiting to receive an ‘exchange’ and hoping the watch will be delivered this time!
My sisters and I purchased 3 of the longline puffers from Woolworths for travelling overseas. They are an absolute waste of money! I would not recommend to anyone. All 3 have tears on them and they were handled gently. Not worth the R899 - terrible quality, we are all so disappointed
Very disappointing service. I had purchased a cot on Monday during their blue dot sale. The item was paid for in full and I received the order number was just waiting for the item to be shipped. Today, 4 days after I placed the order, I received an email from takealot to say my order has been cancelled because the supplier is our of stock (note that it WAS in stock when purchased and paid for). This is deceiving and just down right wrong. My account will be credited or I can opt for a refund that I will only receive in another 5 working days. Extremely misleading - I guess this is what you have to deal with when u decide to shop online!
Favourite halal biltong. Conveniently available at most Engen garages. Does not fail to deliver exceptional taste! My go to work snack.
Robbed me of my portion size. I ordered a large mash and gravy, when I got home to eat my food I realized that only half of the tub was filled. This is misleading as the amount I was given is the same as a regular size. Daylight robbery!
I've had an incident with this branch twice now. The first time I had placed an order online, when I went to pick the order up the store claimed they never received the order. After I showed them the SMS confirmation I received, all they said was the order was being prepared. I had to wait another 15 for this to be done. The second time I had ordered a pizza online, I had asked my husband to pick it up after work. When he went to the store he was told the driver had taken the pizza to the address, after I had chosen the collect option and pay in store option. Again here my husband was first told to wait for the driver, after it had been another 10 minutes he was told the pizza was being prepared again as they can not reach the driver. This is just terrible customer service, I only use this branch because of the convenience but this has become more of a problem. Would not suggest using online ordering with this branch. Staff are not polite either and overall just poor customer service.
