I love my hair, the service was the best, I received my hair quicker than I expected
We bought a phone on Wednesday for Mother's Day Samsung A, yesterday when we opened it was not vibrating and the simcard chip was broken, today we returned it to Edgars Sandton for replacement because it is before 7 days, where we bought it, the Manager by the name of Juanita said it must be booked first they cannot exchange it which is not what they sell to us when selling cellphones, she went to check the footage and was blaming us as customers saying we opened the simcard slot, when we looked at the footage it shows that the lady at the store forcefully tried to open the simcard slot when she could not open it after saying she usually struggles to open that most of the time, she handed the phone to us for assistance, we opened and handed it back to her, we are disappointed at her service and the inconvenience of not having the phone which was meant to be a mother's day gift. At this point in time i will never recommend buying a phone from Edgards Sandton City, after the treatment we got. The lady who assisted us Moitheri without even checking the facts was saying the phone will not be accepted because its already broken, which is the store person who forcefully tried to open it. The manager first gave us a footage where we were trying to open the phone, omitting where the Edgar's employee tried to forcefully open it, that on its own is wrong, we are very disappointed on how this situation was handled.
Absa treated me so bad after paying car insurance and house content for 3 years, when I put a claim and submitted my own quotations, they declined and paid me way low than what I submitted as my own quotation, on the 16th I cancelled the policy and still I have not received any confirmation letter, today i called to follow up on my cancelation they made me hold for more than 45 minutes, month end they will not debit my account, I will block them and reverse that debit order, im just making people aware of how Absa treat their clients, never get an insurance with them ,even if you thinking of switching insurance companies never take insurance with Absa
Case - C-54885127 Absa house content failed me so bad, firstly a asked for the item I submitted for my claim that was approved on the 3rd of July 2025, they send me the incorrect picture with the incorrect model number, they say they got a quotation for my item for R3399.00, when I contact takealot direct they send me a link with the correct ME number the item is worth R5399 but they are giving me a quotation of R3399 instead of R5399, I've waisted my airtime contacting them and my time, they are not resolving my issue, instead they keep on giving incorrect quotation, this has been going on since the 3rd of July, I've escalated to their complain department they are not helping instead they keep on postponing outcome, I don't think people want to insure their items where when they claim for the first time they will struggle the way I'm struggling, they do not tell you that when they claim they use the model number to get quotation, they using incorrect items to quote whereas there is that item still in stock, the exact same item is available on Takealot but they are quoting me on lower item, I used the same model number and description and got the exact same item for R5399 not R3399.
Their quality is perfect, delivery time is enough, I'm happy
I logged a complain because I was not pleased with outcome of my house content claim, they wanted to give me a voucher for R4300 for 3 items, Blender worth R1500, Mi***ave that is Worth R5300 and kettle that is worth R1200, that does not make sense to me they actually telling me to downgrade from the items that I initially bought, since last week I have not heard any feedback,even the quotation they did they are comparing two different items, my items are still in market why not take same prices, why take lower prices
I put a claim for Microwave mirror finish 1000w the value of R5399.00 currently on the market and kettle that is worth R1000 and blender Bennette Read worth R1500, Paragon evaluated my items and gave approval, their service provider Thesl got an incorrect quotation of R4300 for all 3 items, now Absa Indirect is insisting on paying off way less than the market value of the items and the amount does not even match microwave only, i spoke to Refilwe Matlotleng who is now making excuses and does not want to speak to me, Zandile Mabaso also as the person assigned for the claim is also not answering my calls, they refuse to show me the quotation of the items, I have pictures showing current items market value. I'm paying for this insurance I don't expect to be treated the way I'm being treated when I want my payout, the service I'm getting is really bad from Absa from their consultants to service providers.
