From the time we entered the premises until we drove out after the repairs were done we received exceptional and professional service. It was refreshing to deal with a company that offer such exceptional customer service.

I sincerely wish I could give a ZERO rating for the Standard Bank Insurance Division. I have never in my life ever experienced such shocking service. When processing a claim with Standard Bank Insurance all clients need to be warned that the word of a contractor is more important than their clients. The contractor selection process seriously needs to be reviewed. First claim that was processed through Standard Bank Insurance for a burst geyser - contractor damaged walls and stepped through our ceiling causing additional damages. Second claim for storm damage contractor only quoted to have half the damages repaired. The owner of the contracting company blatantly stated that it is not their problem and the file is close. Where is Standard Bank Insurance Client Services in the process.........absolutely no where to be found. The word of a contractor carries more weight with the Bank than the actual client that pays the monthly insurance premium. So if the contract work is not up to standard no one appears to care. Even escalating the complaint to their Complaint Resolution Department has no impact. Again, Standard Bank does not care. Just having a look at the complaints on Hello Peter it is evident that someone senior in the bank needs to be made aware of the absolutely shocking service that customers are getting. Customers "vote" by paying their monthly premiums to companies that care and have their best interest at heart. After 30 years of banking with Standard Bank I am now looking at options to close everything and move my entire portfolio to another Bank.
