I am honestly at the point where I don’t know what I’m paying for anymore. I pay Screamer for TWO separate internet connections, and yet every single evening both of them become almost completely unusable. During the day things are mostly fine, but like clockwork, from around 17:00 onwards, the connection falls apart. Speeds drop badly, pages take minutes to load, and the latency becomes so unstable that I can’t even rely on it for basic work tasks or meetings. I’ve logged multiple tickets and gone back and forth with support. Each time I’m told everything looks fine from their side, with reports of good speeds at the tower. But that means nothing when the actual experience on my side is terrible. I’ve sent proof, run multiple tests, rebooted everything, and ruled out anything on my end. What’s more frustrating is that this has happened repeatedly. There have been moments where changes were made and everything worked perfectly, but then the exact same issue comes back again the next evening. It’s the same pattern over and over again. The explanation I keep getting is “interference”, but there’s no real resolution. Just temporary fixes that don’t last. I work from home, and this is directly affecting my ability to do my job. The whole reason I have two connections is for reliability, yet both are impacted in exactly the same way, which completely defeats the purpose. At this point, it feels like the issue isn’t being properly resolved, just patched until it breaks again the next day. I’m not expecting miracles, but I am expecting a stable service that I’m paying for, and a proper fix instead of the same cycle repeating every evening.
My parcel was marked as “out for delivery” on the 23rd. Nothing happened. No delivery, no contact, no explanation. After phoning SkyNet, I was told they had no idea why my parcel was still sitting there and that the issue would be escalated. Nothing happened. I phoned again on the 31st, same story, same promises, no action. Yesterday, I was explicitly told that the driver would be contacted and instructed to deliver the parcel today. This was a complete lie. When I phoned again today, I was told nobody had contacted the driver at all and that the issue would now be escalated yet again, with delivery supposedly happening on Monday. There is a clear pattern here: misleading updates, false assurances, and endless “escalations” that lead to absolutely nothing. Customer service gives conflicting information, takes no ownership, and appears completely disconnected from actual delivery operations. This company cannot be trusted to deliver parcels or to communicate honestly. Marking parcels as out for delivery when they are not, and repeatedly providing false promises, is unacceptable. I strongly advise avoiding SkyNet unless you are prepared for delays, misinformation, and wasted time.
This is by far the worst delivery company I have dealt with in South Africa. The driver marked my parcel as “could not locate delivery address,” which is simply untrue. After contacting the company myself, the driver admitted he did not deliver it and said he would only bring it two days later. Two days later, instead of delivering the parcel, I was informed that the “delivery volume was too low” and that delivery would be postponed again to the following Monday. This is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of planning and accountability. Attempting to contact this company is a waste of time. Phone calls disconnect immediately, and WhatsApp support leaves you waiting for hours with no response or resolution. There is no effective customer support channel available. This company shows no respect for customers’ time, provides misleading delivery updates, and takes zero responsibility for failures.
Working for the woman of this business is extremely terrible she does not pay employees adequately, making a tiny amount of only R300 PER MONTH! WHILE PROMISING that a basic salary will be discussed. do not support this business or have any thing done here as the owner is completely horrible.
