Rude and non existent services at Pandora's Table Bay Mall, Western Cape
I attended at Pandora's Table Mall, Western Cape on Saturday 21 March at roughly 11:30 AM. Two staff members were on duty, a woman and a male. I wished to avail myself of your 3 for 2 offer. One of the charms was not in stock. I advised that I would pay in full and then collect the charm once ordered. Your staff refused to do so. I then advised them that I had previously done so with another one of your staff members from the same branch. They advised that they were unaware of this. I then explained to them that if they were unwilling to assist me, I would go online, purchase the items there and that they would lose the sale. They were not perturbed. When I reasonably asked them how they restock items that they run out of they informed me that it was not my business. Both were extremely surly and rude. I am bringing this to your attention as I would have thought that being in the business of sales they would actually want to have made a sale! That is, outside their attitude which was shocking. I will also be posting this complaint on Hellopeter because the general public should be aware of the attitude of the staff at Pandora's Table Bay Mall which is best to stear clear of.

Incredible Connection

Stay away from Incredible Connection
I sought to purchase a laptop. I saw an Incredible Connection adverti*****t online. In the advert, a Huawei Matebook D14 was advertised with colour pictures and a backlight. The laptop was R 17 999. I purchased the laptop online and went to fetch the laptop at Incredible Connection at Cavendish early in July 2024. When I returned home and unboxed the laptop, I noticed that Incredible Connection had deceived me. The Huawei laptop that I had received and the one in the advert were two different objects. I took the Hauwei laptop back to Incredible Connection and spoke to the manager Justin. I showed him the laptop as well as the advert. Justin asked to keep the laptop and said he would escalate my matter to his superiors. As at 25 August, I have yet to hear from his superiors, nor do I have any laptop whatsoever. When I was in the store, I was told that Huawei does not make backlit laptops any longer. I was shown a Huawei laptop for R 24 999 which did have a backlight. I said I would accept this laptop due to Incredible Connections false advertising or they must refund me my money. I was obliged to run around and get a letter from my bank as proof of payment. I did so. I also wrote twice to Incredible Connection. I have heard nothing whatsoever from them. I did receive a call from a person at Huawei telling me that he was importing a backlight which was supposed to arrive on 20 August and that he would "butcher" the laptop that I had purchased so as to include a backlight. I informed him that as I did not contract with Huawei, I was not sure why he was calling me. In any event his cheap solution was of no interest to me. Either upgrade me for the false advertising or give me my money. As I write I have heard nothing whatsoever and I am still without a laptop nor have I been reimbursed. It is over a month since I purchased the and returned the item. My advice then would be steer clear of Incredible Connection-their service is shocking and their adverts are misleading.

Globeflight poor service
I arranged with the courier to deliver a parcel between 4 pm and 5 pm. It is now 5:45 pm and I have tried to raise the courier on the phone to find out where he is...The number goes to voice mail. I have sent a text, no reply. I went to Globe flight's website which lists them as being open, my call simply rings out. Bad service, don't recommend

Beware of buying online from Race Shop SA
I went to Raceshopsa website and ordered a pair of 100% Armega Falcon 5 goggles which are clearly listed as available and on sale for R 1 799.00. I order the googles, thankfully I had not paid for them. Several hours later, I get an email from "Courtney" saying that they don't stock the goggles that were clearly advertised. Would it be "okay" if I took the one's that she has sent through in the attachment which is markedly different to the one that I ordered. I open the picture and there is a sticker on the goggles that Race Shop wants to palm off on me listing them at R 1 600. Firstly, if you don't have what I ordered in stock, it should reflect on your website, secondly, don't then try and palm off on me something cheaper that I didn't order from you in the first place at the same price when the photo that you sent as an attachment clearly shows that it's cheaper. Shocking service, I will not be back.

Poor service and awful customer care
I drive a VW Golf Chico 1.4. I took my car to Shelley's VW in Salt River for a service on 28 September 2017. I had been there previously and dealt with a wonderful man by the name of Keenen who unfortunately no longer works there. My vehicle was due for a service and I was charged R1 000.00. As I live close by, in Observatory, it was convenient for me to take my vehicle to Shelleys. I collected my vehicle on 28 September and drove it home, roughly 1 km. I then went away on holiday until 4 October 2017. When I returned and drove my vehicle, I noticed that the battery light came on and the vehicle was overheating. I immediately contacted Shelleys and explained my problem to the mechanic. His immediate response was to tell me that he was unable to assist me until Monday 9 October and that the problem was going to "cost me more money." I told him that I needed my vehicle and that I was not happy with the service that Shelleys had done on the vehicle. His attitude was that it was not his problem and he was singularly unwilling to be of assistance. Upon taking my vehicle to another mechanic, it transpired that the fool had failed to replace the alternator belt which was why the battery light was coming on and the car was overheating. Whilst I recognise that everyone can make a mistake, it was the mechanics awful and unhelpful attitude and his money grubbing response to my telephone call that will move me never to entrust my vehicle to Shelleys in the future, nor do business with them. Be forewarned, vehicle owners!
