We were promised the moon and the stars and initially the service was good. Unfortunately when it came to a life threatening situation my 10 year old son was show away at hospital and told nothing is covered. This was extremely traumatic and had to go to a state hospital as a client with NO COVER. His appendix was about to burst and emergency surgery was needed. Upon joining they explained to me how the cover worked and I specifically asked if appendix or something like a heart attack is seen as accidental. The sales lady confirmed this and even said that her daughter recently had to have her appendix removed. This is all false and a misrepresentation! We have now been waiting for months for the voice recording requested from Cubix. They have stoped replying and had us complete various form, which we did, but to no avail! I would suggest that no one rely on them when you are in a true emergency. The day to day is not to bad but also not always covered. My advise… rather stay away! They don’t even respond
I am in chronic pain with my wisdom teeth and when I went to the specialist he concluded that I need an operation. Right off the bat the doctor gave me two quotes. One for Affinity and a private quote as THEY NEVER PAY. I didn’t want to believe it but apparently it’s true. They look for any excuse. In my case the excuse is that it is a pre-existing condition because I was bord with wisdom teeth! How in the world is this possible. And they don’t care!!!!!
I joined the comprehensive plan to have full cover but have been declined twice now due to pre-existing condition. How is being born with wisdom teeth a pre-existing condition? I have never had problems in the past but developed pain in the last month and was discovered that I needed an extraction of all 4. I am in pain 24/7 and the longer I wait the greater the chance of serious complications regarding the nerves in my face but they feel I have to wait 6 months. If I knew they would not cover any serious issues I would have never signed up. I don’t trust their great reviews anymore
After applying for a contract we waited 2 weeks for stock. We then received a broken unit and returned it the next day. We are now still waiting for a new unit and to top it all vodacom Supplied a wrong pin for the wifi router that came with this package. We were informed that almost 2 GB is used up by trying to login with this wrong pin. I can't see how that is possible. Never the less! To top it all, we have just been charged for the contract that we have not yet had the chance to use. We incurred expenses because of Vodacom and their don't care attitude and now we are paying for absolutely nothing! How can this be legal.
I upgraded to a new contract in August after considering leaving Vodacom as they did not meet by needs but was convinced to stay with a better offer on my contact. Part of the deal was that I would receive 1 GB data. The first month was great. By die 31ste I checked my data to see if the remaining data will transfer to the next month. I had 160(odd) MB left. By the 2nd of Sep I checked again and had 143MB. I never received my 1 GB. I went through all the channels to report this to Vodacom as we all know this happened to many of their customers. I was told that I did receive my 1GB and used it all on the 1st. I have never used that much data in one day. I don't even use that much in a month. On top of that, I was sick in bed and did not do anything on my phone. I asked them to investigate on what the 1GB was used and I am still awaiting the answer. THANK YOU FOR NOTHING. I am truly disappointed and wish I left when I had the chance.
