I have gone through 3 Trimtech edge trimmers in 3 months. The first one just stopped working. I did not keep the slip so I could it exchange it. I went to buy a second one. It worked for less than a day and stopped working. I took it back to Builders and exchanged it. I asked them if I should use another brand or buy a better make. They assured me this one would be fine. The third one lasted a month. Builders now refuse to take it back. I am using the gut provided by Trimtech so can’t be overloading the machine. They last a few weeks and you need to get another one. They should be sold as disposable edge trimmers because that is exactly what they are.
What an absolute nightmare building a house with BG Construction. They are a small company with too many projects going on at the same time. So if the team is busy somewhere else your project stands and nothing happens. Then they forget what needs to be done at your house because there is always somebody else more important they are focusing on. When it comes to repairing snags they disappear. I’ve been in my house for 7 months and still have to follow up on a weekly basis as to when water leaks will be repaired. My floors have been damaged due to their incompetence and their apathetic attitude to getting the job done. I can honestly say I regret appointing BG Construction to build my home. It’s been a disaster since day one.
Scammers. They take your money and never deliver any goods. 29 reviews on their Facebook page of others with exactly the same experience. Always read the company’s reviews before purchasing online. Melhor do not reply to customer emails, they do not answer their phone nor do they respond to the chat function on their website. All they do is take your money. It’s actually criminal.
I bought a Samsung fridge from the Hirsch’s website. It was delivered broken. I went in store and they said they would log a service call. No one called me. I phoned Head Office. They said the service call was not logged and they can’t help me. I must phone the online department. I called them and was told a service call was logged. Again nothing transpired. I then spoke to the service manager. She assured me she would contact Samsung and would and me with the details and someone would phone me. No sms and no phone call. Hirschs sell broken appliances and refuse to repair them. After speaking to 4 people no one will sort out them problem.
In January I contacted Floors direct to install laminate flooring in my home. I was told it would be a 2 day job and booked the job for the 3rd and 4th of March. They then told me they could not make it on the 3rd and would finish the job in 1 day. The job ended up taking 10 days to complete. The staff were late every day. They had no company vehicle and we're catching taxis to my house. The foreman was picking up temporary workers off the street to come help as the Floorsdirect staff had not been paid in 2 months. Once the job had been completed I had been oversupplied with stock. I was told I would get a refund. I sent around R4000 of flooring and screed back. I asked when I would get my money back for the goods and was told they would send me a form to complete. I never received this. I eventually went into the store to fill in the form and was told I would be refunded in a week. Now 3 weeks later I have still not been refunded. <br> <br> This entire experience has been terrible and unprofessional. It feels like a got a random person of the road to do this job. Not a professional company.
