I am writing to express my frustration with the ongoing issues surrounding my LG amplifier repairs and the lack of communication from your team. To recap: The amplifier was initially sent for repair due to a breakdown, and new parts were replaced. Not even three weeks later, the amplifier broke down again and was taken in for a second repair on 19th November. Since then, I have received no feedback on the status of the repairs. This lack of communication is both unacceptable and extremely frustrating. Compounding this, my amplifier’s warranty expired while it has been with your team for repairs. I have also come to understand that no warranty will be provided for the parts replaced during the second repair, should the amplifier break down again. I find this deeply concerning, as the issue remains unresolved, and I have had to go through multiple repair processes with little assurance of lasting quality or customer support. We purchased the LG 2300W AV Receiver System, which will be two years old this December, and have unfortunately encountered recurring problems with the amplifier. Initially, the system would power on, but the display lights would not work. The following day, everything appeared to function normally. However, shortly after, the amplifier stopped working altogether. Despite multiple troubleshooting efforts on our part, the issue persists, and we have not received any support or assistance from LG in resolving it. This has been a very disappointing experience, especially considering the significant cost of the system. Upon further investigation, we've also noticed that many people on Facebook Marketplace are selling their speakers without the amplifier, as it seems the amplifier is frequently deemed non-repairable. It is clear that many customers are facing similar problems, suggesting this may be a manufacturing defect.
If there was an option for ZERO rating that would be my option. I bought a carpet, paid R3500 ! The first time I tried to gently clean it, all the ****ing colour it out of the carpet. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE !!!! bull****
I’ve been with Standard Bank over 18 years. Last week Thursday I’ve received two messages money withdrawn from my account. Immediately I rush to the nearest branch to stop my card and online banking. The consultant told me that the money was definitely withdrawn in Sandton (I’m sitting in front of her with my card in my hand) 1 170 km from Johannesburg. I’m always over protective of my card and pin. She didn’t say it directly to my face, but I knew that what she was trying to prepared me for is that I’m not getting any money back. Each time I follow up. They are still investing. It’s thousands of rands I can’t afford to lose. I know the bank asked 7 working days to sort this out. But in the meantime someone else is enjoying my money that was supposed to feed my family. What more can I do to protect myself from this not happening again?
