To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the extremely poor service I have received from Absa regarding my request for payment arrangements. On Tuesday, 28 April 2026 at 08:23 AM, I sent an email requesting assistance to make payment arrangements on my account. The response I received stated that someone would contact me within 10 working days. After waiting and receiving no feedback, I followed up again via email, only to receive another response saying that I would be contacted within another 10 working days. It is very clear that my emails are not being properly read or attended to, as my follow-up was specifically regarding the lack of response from the original email sent on 28 April 2026. To date, nobody has contacted me. I have also attempted to resolve this matter by visiting the branch in person. However, the branch staff simply contacted the department involved and then referred me straight back to the same email address: [email protected], without any actual assistance or resolution. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. As a customer trying to proactively make arrangements and manage my account responsibly, I expected far better service, communication, and support from Absa. At this point, I am seriously reconsidering my relationship with the bank, as this is not the level of service I expect from a financial institution. I request urgent attention to this matter and immediate feedback regarding my payment arrangement request. Kind regards, Chris
<p>To whom it may concern</p> <p> </p> <p>Ive been into Mtn boksburg today13/01/2017 , to get a new P8 Hawai with the special that includes 10 000 min and 50 gig data fo R270</p> <p>Only then i found out that my status says legal (wise) , due to money out standing..</p> <p>So it means i cant get an extra contract due to staff at head office thats in capable do there jobs,</p> <p>And this contract special was only for today</p> <p>So ive waisted 3Hours of my day An whole 1hour on my exspenses to phone head office , legal wise and so on.And every time you get transferred , and people saying they cant assist.</p> <p>As There words were its at legal wise , and they cant assist , Then they give me an number to phone.</p> <p>Then they say they cant assist it takes 3 days , and there is no one else that can assist on this</p> <p> </p> <p>The last attemed i phoned 808 again and asked for a suppervisor that i can discuss this matter with as it is urgent..Ref ********** 60</p> <p>The words was they couldnt find a suppervisor as they all in a meetings..The only problem of got with this is it is always the same answer..THEY IN MEETINGS..</p> <p> </p> <p>Last year i upgraded again , after my previouse experience , and putted everything behind me..</p> <p>Then on my first bill they over charge me again ,like all the previouse times</p> <p>(The reason why ive cancelled my debit order many years back is because of this)</p> <p> </p> <p>So i went in store again to sort out this matter as then we found out with my contract theres a 2 gig data plan , so i spoke to the lady on the day of purchase the reason why im taking this contract is because of this 2 gig data thats worked into the plan>So as discussed instore the additional 2 gig data should have be cancelled , and was never cancelled...</p> <p>After all fights i spoke to someone on 808 and she assisted me on loading a credit on my account as this wasnt my Mistake but MTN's..So i was all happy as it was sorted</p> <p> </p> <p>So December i went in store to ask what is my outstanding balance and they gave me my correct amount R589 +- and this is what it must be..So it means my account was fully paid>>and meaning the credit was sorted</p> <p> </p> <p>Now sundenly im owing MTN money</p> <p> </p> <p>My account is fully paid on according to my contract ,and i dont owe a cent</p> <p> </p> <p>Ive been a client for almost 12 years ,and everytime i upgrade i have got the same issues over and over , and Waisted how many hours to resolve this problems,,The same problems over and over</p> <p> </p> <p>Im very dissapointed in the service MTN gives to there clients , and not the staff on site but the head office as there must be suppervisors to attend to matters like this.But always no one available</p> <p> </p> <p>If this thing was credit correctly on last year , how can i owe MTN money</p> <p> </p> <p>I WANT THIS CONTRACT AS EXPLAIND BECAUSE OF THE OFFER THAT YOU GIVE FOR TODAY , BUT BECAUSE OF LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE I COULDNT GET THIS CONTRACT TODAY</p> <p>IM REALY DISSIPOINTED AFTER TODAY , AFTER BEEN SO LONG WITH A COMPANY AND HAVING THE SAME PROBLEMS OVER AND OVER</p> <p> </p> <p>I STILL WANT THIS CONTRACT ...</p> <p> </p> <p>Im on the Brake point with mtn now..And on the point of cancelling my contracts and give them to people that wants to serve there clients</p> <p> </p> <p>And last how can they put me on legal this is not even 30 days , and secondly without phoning your clients to let them no ABOUT oustanding amounts.Then surely this issue would have been solved as i would have explained them agian over and over like the previouse times</p> <p> </p> <p>This is affecting my rating of Buying house , so this is getting very seriousely</p> <p> </p> <p>Your urgent response will be appriciated</p> <p> </p> <p>Regards</p> <p> </p> <p>Chris Cornelius</p> <p> </p>
