(TROJAN gym equipment) [email protected] Pathetic Service
Trojan after sale gym equipment parts seems to be a continues problem. I have written before about the pathetic service from [email protected]. I am not sure if it's incompetency. There is a lack of follow up after enquiry had been logged and a return computer generated reply ensures you of a consultant that will get back to you. The outlet stores (Game, Makro etc.) will make promises about after sale service availability without them knowing what a run around it is to get any reply.

Big Brother Security
My go to security store. The guys are friendly and helpful. Their merchandise is reasonably priced. I bought a Dace Sprint 500 sliding gate motor and a DTS Gcom520 gate controller that allows client access via the internet at no cost. Best ever for my gym members.

Unsafe Children toy
I hereby would like to high light a problem with an “UNSAFE KIDS TOY” https://www.takealot.com/safe-toys-bricks-series-building-blocks-baby-wagon-toys-for-todd/PLID90122430 This toy was bought by my daughter, but the incident happened on my watch and I was blamed for not watching my grandson. But, No amount of watching was going to prevent him from harm, because the toy that he was playing with was unsafe. My grandchild of two and a half years old was in pain last night when his fingers got stuck between the handle and the wagon. He’s been playing with it for a number of weeks with no incident until last night (25.01.23) when he picked the wagon up to carry it up the steps. He loves the toy and we thought that it’s a great toy until last night. I still think that it’s a great toy, but the design of the handle needs to be changed ASAP before many more kids are getting hurt. The Gap between the Wagon and the handle has an opening wide enough for the child's hand to fit through when the handle is in the rest position. When the handle flips over to the pulling position while the child's hand is through the opening the hand will be trapped and it will inflict excruciating pain until the handle is lifted to release the child's hand. Two stars from me because safety for a vulnerable child is paramount. Concerned grandparent.

Lacking customer service
Builders warehouse Pietermaritzburg improved a great deal since the new ownership with the range of products that's available to the consumer. The downside with increased products there must also be enough customer service, which seems to be lacking most of the time when you need some help. Maybe something that management must look at

Husqvarna Power Generators Fuel tank surface rust
I bought a Husqvarna G8500P 7.5 kw power generator from Industrial and Chainsaw and was fortunate to notice after 3 months of having the generator that there were rust spots in the fuel tank. I contacted Industrial and chainsaw and there was first an excuse that it is a common problem and it is not such a big problem. That annoyed me because when I buy a new generator I only expected rust in the fuel tank after a number of years. It took almost six months to have it changed after I had to call a number of times to check up on the progress and finally I had it changed. I also called Husqvarna to find out why it was taking so long to get a new tank from them, but I never got a return call from them as I was promised by the receptionist. I thought how many people are there with this problem that are unaware of this problem and end up with problems after the guarantee is over because the dirt ends up clogging the jets. I guess the reason I am writing the review is to suggest that when you buy a new generator, remove the fuel filler cap sieve and have a look into the tank and see if there is any surface rust.
