Good morning. I am extremely frustrated. In December I clearly told your consultant that I would not proceed or sign anything until end of February. Despite this, Outsurance debited my business account without my consent, causing my account to go into a negative balance. Last week I spoke to William Venter, who promised to call me back, but I have received no response. This morning another debit went through, using funds that had just been transferred into my account, leaving it negative again. I am requesting an immediate refund of all unauthorised debit orders, including bank charges caused by insufficient funds, and written confirmation that no further debits will be processed. Please treat this as urgent. Mapula Koloane
Mapkol Supply Services manufactured sports clothing for the school in March last year. The school kept on returning the clothes saying the people were complaining about the sizes. We tailored the clothes according to the sizes people indicated. For a year there was this back and forward of the clothing until we eventually delivered everything they wanted. it is now 3 months now that they have been promising to pay but in vain. the attitude and noncooperation shown to me is nothing but a disgrace, They do not care about the fact that the goods were funded and rental, tools, and labor already paid for the goods, This is a school that doesn't care and am wondering how they treat the children there.
Joined the insurer after been convinced of the best sevice for my old car. When I got breakdown they classified as wear and tear and did not pay for the bearings,. Very very poor service and will not recommend anyone to join them
Good morning, My husband was at Vanchem; he was dismissed for no reason I can understand.I would like to submit my concern. Herewith is his version of the story. My contract was abruptly terminated last week, on 23 March 2023. I requested that I finish my contract period but was vehemently denied and asked to exit the company immediately. The Group HR Manager's hostility and aggression were tantamount to the fact that I had sinned unforgivably. As I said through my Vanchem e-mail address, my concern is about the impression or expectation I had to join the company. The COO approached me in June last year for an opportunity for a permanent position in his plant, Vanchem. We had a series of discussions on the terms of engagement. During our conversations with the COO and the Group HR Manager, I knew the position would be available to me. The work was created to separate maintenance from production. I had to be roped in due to my vast production experience. I joined on a six-month contract so that the position could be ratified as relevant. I trusted the content of my discussions with the CCO and the HR Manager as I deemed them men of integrity. Based on these discussions, I was compelled to resign from my previous job. Under no circumstances would I have just decided to abandon my safe, secure permanent position for the risk of losing permanent employment without the mutual commitment from both sides. By the end of the six months contract, I was informed that the agreement would be extended by a further two months to follow the proper channels per the recruitment procedure. That procedure is clear internal candidates will be prioritized before external candidates can be considered. I was interviewed and ultimately informed that I did not make it. The reason was that the external candidate had more experience than I had in running the plant. This condition only came about when my future had to be decided. I feel very stressed and betrayed; I have lost my family support system. I have joined in the statistics of unemployment. My only fault was trusting and believing in someone I had worked with for many years. I want the company to walk the VALUES I know are considerate of people's well-being. This treatment is against all the moral and ethical Values of Collaboration, Care, and Trust. Please rescue me from the claws of frustration and stress. Regards
The policy of not funding the lower-middle-class students is killing our children. We find ourselves having to cover double our children's expenses when they go to University. Whereas we were covering tuition fees only at primary school, we now have to cover accommodation, food, traveling, and other things like books, etc. This is too much for the parents and NASFAS must stop depriving our children of the free education our government is supporting through pour taxes
My daughter was subjected to unbearable stress by the admin of UCT. She sent all the documents the admin asked her for to apply for the financial aid and NASFAS. This she did last year. She was told that she will get a response as the admin staff was working from home due to the pandemic restrictions. admittedly so she kept on inquiring about the progress in her inquiries. Nothing came out until this year when she was supposed to register. Now the committee sat and she is told that she was supposed to have sent the documents she had already sent last. This commission led to her being financially excluded and it caused her miserable emotions. This is in light of proof sent to the University that I, as a father lost my job in 2020 due to COVID. Her mother is not working and an affidavit was sent to support that. I feel that the University treated her with utmost disdain and could it not been the SRC intervention she was thrown into a waste bin because her parents could not afford the exorbitant fees, accommodation and food for her. All children must be afforded the same treatment to the right to education. Screening based on not meeting certain documents is secondary to the primary duty to give children access to education through the various financial channels that the government and private sector is giving the University. I plead that this must come to a stop for many children who are now categorized as the missing middle class.
We were treated with impunity to degrading our reputation to our customers. We ordered flame and acid overalls which were inferior in quality and numerous sizing and colour mismatches. It's been over a month now that we have been requesting some form of REPRIEVE on the messed up order. The company head office was alerted about this matter but we were told that since we embroidered the jackets there is nothing they can do but for us to buy extra overalls. We have clarified their misformed interpretation of the matter. The matter is threefold. 1. We requested waist sizes but they decided, without informing us, that the sizes we ordered were jacket sizes. Therefore the waist sizes are all small since the jacket is bigger than the waist. 2. Besides the misinterpreted sizes, the jackets and trousers sizes do not match, 3. The material texture and colours for the jackets and trousers are not the same. They have blatantly refused to accept their fault and insist on the fact that jackets are embroidered and cannot be rectified based on the three points highlighted. This company does not have ethics to treat customers and would like to inform other customers about them.
Sir, MAPKOL.SUPPLY SERVICES from South Africa, requested some masks to be courried from Bedfordciew in Johannesburg to Durban on the 18th November 2020 with waybill #46095431034 The goods did not arrive at the destination because there were riots en route to Durban where the vehicle containing the goods was burnt with the goods. As our gods are insured, we were promised to be refunded after we sent the costs to the Richard's Bay branch of whom we have a business account. We have since not recieved the payment besides numerous inquiries with Celeste Ontong (Richarfs Bay) and Shaun du Preeze (CapeTown head office) We have breached our promise with our customer to re-deliver his goods by the 15 Dec 2020 once we get paid by Aramex to purchase material and pay salaries to the staff making the masks. Please intervene and ask Aramex South Africa to refund us. Regards
I am emotionally and psychologically depressed with the kind of severely terrible service I have received from Andrew from this company. When we were looking for a new place to rent due to the high rental we could not afford from our previous house, we categorically mentioned that we want cheaper rent. we also made mention of the fact that electricity and water must be within reason. The lady, Vicky Brown, that was showing us the new house said that the rent includes other services but the electricity. We were lured to accept this affordable and within the budget arrangement, only to be told 3 months later that water, sewerage, refuse has to be paid by us. We were shocked and upon enquiring, we were treated like dirt with threats for legal actions. We opted to leave and to spite and being vindictive they took all our deposit claiming that in a month we used electricity for R18000 and other services for R14000. We tried to make sense of this but we were dismissed with so much impunity that we were left disappointed and naked with disgust.
After Hellopeter contacted them the response we got was tremendous and speedy. We were helped with the minimal problems and beyond. Thank you hellopeter and Discovery Insure for speedy service.
