What an absolutely awful experience we had. I used to love Tommys, hadn’t been for a while, and we took a friend for her birthday to relive the fond memories. From the second we walked in, the whole vibe had changed and is pretentious Cape Town to a tee. Why have a wrap around bar but scream at customers who stand at the wrap around bit, when there is NO signage saying otherwise, and it was never been a problem in the past. If you were 1mm out of “where you can stand”, the one bartender comes to scream at you. Add to that having to play foosball in silence bc they set up a tattoo pop-up RIGHT NEXT TO THE FOOSBALL TABLE. We comp**** when asked to keep it down and when we were about to start our 2nd game, a bouncer comes and grabs the table without explanation telling us we are done playing. We asked to speak to the manager just to understand the situation and the bartender told us “don’t come back, byyyye” instead of being professional and helpful and actually getting his superior… like you should in hospitality. I have a large platform I could use to talk about this, but I’d rather save my breath than have the **** PR replies I have seen on their Google reviews. Awful, awful place. Young and rude staff, although, the manager was actually professional and she must get kudos. Save your hard earned money for somewhere else that’s actually pleasant and don’t support the bs spot that Tommys has become.
I ordered a windbreaker and a fleece on 18 April. On 24 April, 2 pairs of cycling shorts showed up as my order. I left the shorts at the Pargo pickup point and got in touch with Decathlon to let them know they sent the wrong thing. I was assured the correct package would be sent and would be there in a few days. TWO WEEKS LATER, I don't have my package, and they've stopped responding. I sent a refund request email, and a bot responded with a link to "return or exchange the item." What item must I return or exchange?? I NEVER GOT MY ORDER. Along the way, the support agent forwarded me an email to Pargo saying, "The customer is complaining," to show me it was Pargo's fault. As the customer, I don't care whose fault it is; I just want what I ordered. When it's your brand I order from, it is on you to fix the problem.

I am fed up with Uber and their terrible customer service. I use Uber regularly, at least once a week. Now, I am unable to use Uber as the app says that my card linked to the account has been deemed invalid. This was a huge problem for me on Saturday night when I had no way to get home. There is no problem with the card or account. The fact that Uber deemed it invalid without warning or reason is incredible frustrating. I have needed to use the app all weekend as well as next week when I am away. I have contacted Uber a number of times and am yet to have a response let alone any help! Having sent thousands of Rands with this company I am extremely disapointed.
