I personally prefer human interaction as opposed to using the app. I don't frequently call Old Mutual but when I do I have consistently received helpful, professional, efficient service
I was experiencing a difficult day and contemplated buying a cigarette. Mpho at the Fourways Mall branch changed my entire vibe, she was professional, considerate and patient. She helped me find a vape that has zero percent nicotine. I am truly grateful for the customer service I received.
I recently visited a Clicks store in Liberty Midlands Mall, Pietermaritzburg. I was thoroughly impressed by the customer service I received. I was looking at an effervescent for flu. I didn't even really desire or require any help. A gentleman approached me and I end up saving, thanks to his recommendation. He even proceeded to help me search for the perfect foot protector to wear inside my high heels. Kind, attentive, polite and professional. I was so taken aback I forgot to get his name. And as I was walking off, I heard him attend to another customer with the same enthusiasm.
Usually I don't bother reviewing a place if it is bad. Out of self-respect I just opt to never visit there again unless I absolutely MUST! With Taco Zulu it was different. Friday , Oct. 30th was my first time there. The bouncers were polite and professional. I went with 3 other people and we were in costume due to attending a Halloween event prior to visiting Taco Zulu. I was quite pleased to note that one of the hosts ( a large African gentleman ) coolly informed us that their halloween event is the following day but since we are already dressed, we are welcome to use their photo booth- this was the only kind gesture I received all night from Taco Zulu staff. My waitress for the night did not greet the table and whilst I can understand that myself and my friends got there late and curfew is a concern for many. The manner in which she chose to engage with patrons is truly poor. i write this review in the hope that establishments that serve food will understand that your staff serving the food should be trained, so as not to put a damper on someone's spirits -prior to them sitting down to enjoy a meal. My suggestion is that if any customers should rock up after 9pm, how about this: "Hi Sir/ Ma'am/ Guys & Girls/ Ladies & Gents/ Sanibonani I am (insert name here) and I will be your waitress tonight *insert smile here* Due to the curfew, we wpuld like to cash up all food orders by (insert time here) so that our staff can get home safely within curfew. This way customers can determine what they will purchase and will not feel belittled or chased away. I understand that by the end of the day it is hard to maintain the same energy as the beginning but I too have been a waitress, I speak from experience when I say that someone serving with a negative attitude is a lose-lose for ALL involved! If it were not for that gentleman who offered displayed excellent customer skills, I would never have considered going there again or posting this helpful review.
The Baby City Invesco Center branch in Pietermaritzburg offers exceptional service. Apart from having a wide variety of stock and a pleasant environment within the store. The staff add a magnificent personal touch. I work in the customer service industry and understand all to well how demanding it can be at times. Both my mum and I received excellent service from Brandon and Bianca, respectively. They offered us support by carefully considering our individual needs and their nature was warm, friendly, professional and kind! Even other staff that we did not directly interact with were pleasant and professional. Thank You Baby City for the exceptional service! I will be sure to be recommending and visiting this store again and again!!!
I have had average, extremely miserable and good experiences at the Checkers at Scottsville Mall Pietermaritzburg. But recently, with the Woodburn Square Checkers Hyper having opened, I have noticed a wonderful efficiency and friendliness change in the staff. I have put this down to be able to cope better with the number of daily customers - now that another Checkers is close by to relieve the numbers. It has lifted my spirits, increased my brand loyalty and made me happier to #SupportLocal !!!! Thank you to the perfect staff at Checkers Scottsville Mall- I continue to use that Checkers because of y'all! And I would like to give a special mention to the Cashier Nonku- even on her busiest days she puts a smile on her face, even when her eyes look drained and tired she puts a smile on her face. I sometimes wait in longer queues just because dealing with her is always a great experience for me!
Apart from their friendly service. I was impressed by the kindness and consideration of the staff at the Liberty Midlands Mall, PMB Legit branch. Not only did they ensure that another patron did not cut me off in the queue; they also were very patient and very thorough when reminding me about size selection for non-refundable items. I am sincerely impressed and find it worth my time and energy to mention their excellent service!
I am the first person to openly discuss the unprofessional service often offered by call center agents, being in the service industry myself- I understand how honest reviews can benefit all being reviewed, as well as their clientele. However, yesterday I contact the Telkom Customer Care Services regarding my internet and I am very appreciative of and happy to announce that their service was superb. The response time was brilliant and the service efficient with some added courtesy, which was extremely refreshing.
I had almost given up... An ADSL line was installed at my home on 19/08/2019, I patiently waited the full 48 hours to be able to access the internet. I didn't mind having to wait longer- honestly being in the Service Dep. of the Motor Industry I also understand that when it comes to technical assistance things are not always as clear cut as customers often assume and having patience often gets you the best results. But naturally, by the evening of the 27th of August I was totally frustrated, having exhausted a lot of airtime and free minutes calling 10210, I decided to contact them during business hours when I was fresh and much more peaceful. My telephonic conversations with 2 agents made me so irate today that I was on the verge of cancelling my subscription and just giving up! I wanted to name and shame but I think that focusing on the good is what generates more good service!!! So, I took a deep breath and said let me give a different avenue a shot. And that is when I entered the chat service and was introduced to someone who saved Telkom's image for me. A gentleman named Siphamandla Nazo, his was efficient, polite, patient and did not give me the impression that he was trying to rush assisting me. I AM EXTREMELY GRATEFUL FOR HIS SERVICE!!! He addressed all my queries and he was professional and polite! I haven't even confirmed if my wifi is up and running, yet I am fully confident is his work- all from a mere chat! Please try my suggestion, IF THE CALL CENTER FOLKS ARE FRUSTRATING YOU, GIVE THE CHAT SERVICE A CHANCE- it truly is brilliant. Please keep up the EXCELLENT WORK Siphamandla - the world needs more people like you!!! THANK YOU!
Just got of the phone, a short while ago, with Mr Siyabonga Khanyile representing Telkom. His service is phenomenal!!! I spoke with him yesterday but I was not entirely sure if I wanted to proceed with my application. I asked him to call me back today at 1pm and he was on time, friendly, knowledgeable of their products and service, and he explained to me in a manner that I was able to fully understand, he was also patient with me and I truly appreciated the manner in which he dealt with me- professional in a real way! Thank you Sir... Keep up the EXCELLENT SERVICE! I for one am extremely impressed!
