Unwilling to allow me to pay "delivery fees" cash and finance only the base price of the vehicle
Tried buying a car from Trade Auto Motor Corporation (Nelspruit). When I asked the sales person to send an 'Offer to purchase' she phoned and asked why I want that. I was upfront with her and said I would prefer buying a car through my own bank and will speak to them myself. She then said they can get me the same rate as what I would get by speaking to them myself and that they prefer doing the finance so they have control over payments etc. I said thanks but I prefer getting my own finance. When receiving the quote, there was a charge for "delivery fees". Given that we were going to pick the car up ourselves and pay any extra costs cash, I asked what the delivery fee is exactly. She said its for roadworthy test, on the road cost and delivery. I then asked if she could send a quote with a breakdown of the "delivery cost", so that I can send that to my bank. Given that some of the fees are not allowed to be included in the credit agreement by law(National Credit Amendment Act of March 2014). I didn't want to be in breach of the NCR. I also asked for a brake down of the License and reg fees as I could probably do it myself since I was from a different Province. She then said those fees are seperate and they can do all of that and deliver it to me even though I am in a different Province. I said thanks, then leave that and please only breakdown the "delivery fee" on the quote. She then told me that the fees are to get the car ready for delivery, and asked me if I have a problem with it. I said no I don't have a problem with the fees added, I just want a breakdown of it on the quote, in order for the bank to see exactly what they can finance and what not, which I would then pay for myself. She then proceeded to whatsapp me a breakdown and I quote: "Roadworthy R400, Valet and Polish R760-1400,Fuel R500+, Gift R300+, Driver's driving around, no charge for toll and fuel if they deliver the car" Super confused I said thanks for the info and asked if she could provide it on the quote so I can submit to my bank. She then phoned and long story short said she will cancel the transaction as I am accusing them of being unlawful (or something to that sorts). I then again expressed that the issue is not with them, and that I only want to finance the fees that are allowed to be financed according to the NCR and pay for the rest cash. Eventually got hold of the owner, he told me that he has no obligation to give me a breakdown. That he has been putting the delivery fee on the finance for more than 20 years with no issues, and he will not be put under scrutiny by a client. So from what I understand, if I had simply financed the "delivery fee" there would have been no issue, but because I asked for a breakdown of that fee so that I can decide what needs to be finance and what will be cash I put them under scrutiny? I am so confused.

Unprofessional
Asked for a quote through their online email. Some guy phoned me and asked me to send my name and address through sms for an electrician to contact me. Since then I have sent a few messages asking if someone tried to contact me, asked for confirmation that they are receiving my messages....I'm still waiting. Extremely unprofessional company. Looking on the bright side it looks like I dodged a bullet from all of the terrible reviews about them I read afterwards.

MTN online store incompetent
Have been trying over a month now to open an account through the online store. Nobody phones back. Tried to go do it in store, got informed that I already had an active application and have to phone the online store to can cancel the application before I can do it in store. Phoned online, they said they don't need to cancel it they will just help me on the phone. Had to give all my details again, after which I got told someone will phone me. No phone call since.

Cost me a lot off money
<p>Just Letting managed my property for almost 2 years. Worst mistake of my life. I lost my whole garden due to them not doing ingoing and outgoing inspections properly. When asked about it they said it's not their fault as they do not do the inspections themselfes but has it contracted out. After an almost year long fight they did redo my garden. However whenI looked at my stament the garden was credited to the new innocent tenant. Also on my statement it showed that they payed money to a maintenance company to fix a window, and that the tenant has outstanding debt. When I had al look at the place the window was still broken, and when I phoned the Maintenance company it did not exist. I asked them to please explain what is happening with my account as it looks like they used the money that the tenant payed for elitricity to fix the garden that the previous tenant neglected, and I do not understand the maintenace payment that was subtracted for something that was never fixed. When I asked them about this payment they told me, they don't know because she doesn't do an inspection after maintenance was there. It is not her fault if the company does not exists. Firslty I never accepted a quote for this "maintenance" they just did it. I have been complaining for them to fix the window for over a year, and they never did which is why I was surprised to see that it was payed for. I continously asked them to clarify the oustabding issues after which I was told the following:</p> <p>"Sorry, I will not keep going back to this account, we have closed the file.</p> <p> </p> <p>Please feel free to contact the maintenance people we are no longer working on this account. The maintenance company that did the work have closed as far as we know yes.</p> <p> </p> <p>Regards"</p>
