Complaint against Platinum Auto and Repair
You have had a vehicle for over 2 months without articulated reason, no ability to be contacted, no responses to requests for information and no feedback that has voluntarily come from your side at Platinum Auto Repair. This has put a family with small children at risk, which is irresponsible, dangerous and thoroughly unacceptable. This complaint wishes to express our collective dissatisfaction with the lack of communication, seemingly disinterested attitude, inability to understand your impact on others lives. All you seem to be interested in is *****ing their monies with no accountability on your side for anything. This company should be totally boycotted.

Complaint against Platinum Auto and Repair
You have had a vehicle for over 2 months without articulated reason, no ability to be contacted, no responses to requests for information and no feedback that has voluntarily come from your side at Platinum Auto Repair. This has put a family with small children at risk, which is irresponsible, dangerous and thoroughly unacceptable. This complaint wishes to express our collective dissatisfaction with the lack of communication, seemingly disinterested attitude, inability to understand your impact on others lives. All you seem to be interested in is *****ing their monies with no accountability on your side for anything. This company should be totally boycotted.

Great service
I have been having having so much issues with my car that I purchased from We Buy Cars and they never call you back but they send their cars to PPP platinum Auto to get sorted before u take the car away and these guys are on the ball the follow ups the assistance the urgency it is amazing. They really try and satisfy you to the best of their ability. Every time I call even if there is no feedback they answer the phone unlike the customer agent Cheryl from We Buy Cars. She is always busy or unavailable. My car has been in the shop for about 2 weeks now and I consistently get feedback from PPP Platinum Auto. I am patient because of Platinum Auto as they are keeping me cool because of their service and they are really customer satisfaction inclined.

Great service

Shame on you We Buy Cars and Platinum Auto
I will never buy a car again from we buy cars. They will sell you a car and that's it. if you have a problem they don't help. I paid for a service on a car that a bought from these guys. They use a company called Platinum Auto. We buy Cars tired to convince me that this company Platinum Auto does a good job on all the cars, so I asked for them to prove the service was done. unfortunately, they could not prove the service was done Platinum Auto never did the service but instead just invoiced the job. how many more cars have they done this to? My car was not serviced, the book was not stamped, the computer was not reset, fluids were not filled and parts were not changed. I have pictures of these. Platinum Auto lied that the service was done straight to my face. They tried to show my old parts and said it was new. I don't understand how a company like "we buy cars "does business with Platinum Auto. there building was burnt, the roof is like falling apart. new cars are being repaired outside in the parking lot. The owner can only say that they invoiced the job so it must have been done. lol Later the Owner calls me to stop me from going to buy cars and reporting this. He offered to redo the service, but why would I want to do the service with them after all the issues. I do not trust Platinum Auto and will never do business with these guys. I have asked WE BUY CARS for a refund on my service or pay for a service at another service center. I have also paid for a warranty, and now my warranty will be invalid due to these companies. SO FINALLY We Buy Car says they can't help me "their customer" and I must go to the Ombudsman. This is my experience with We Buy Cars and Platinum Auto. It seems they will sell you the car and after you sign on the line, you are on your own. Shame on you We Buy Cars and Platinum Auto Part 2 after I contact the Ombudsman.

Extremely disappointed!!!
I am so disappointed in the service that was provided, my vehicle went in for a gearbox problem and was there for almost a month with no feedback I was the one following up, today when I drove my car the steering wheel was very stiff and there’s a warning light on and also the hooter and speedometer is not working, on top of that they want to make me wait further more than a day to fix it again, it’s my second time fixing my car there and both times a very bad experience!!!

DAYLIGHT ROBBERY, IT'S THEIR FAULT NOW I'M ASKED TO PAY
On the 1st of February 2021, I bought a vehicle from We Buy Cars a 2013 Jeep Compas , and this is not the first vehicle that I bought from We Buy cars. So based on my previous experience with buying cars from We buy cars, I drove the vehicle for four days then I decided to take the vehicle for a service. The gentleman who works at we Buy Cars a dvised me to take my vehicle to Platinum Auto in Glen Ashley. When I went to Platinum Auto they took the vehicle in, and they advised me that it will be ready the following day as they were going to do a major service on the vehicle. I said it was okay. I then fetched my car as per their instruction. I then drove off, as I was driving my sister noticed that there's a serious smell of oil. I told her maybe it was due to the fact that the car had just been serviced, as we continued to drive the heating gauge went up and the vehicle was overheating. I contacted Trevor at PLATINUM AUTO and told him that my car is overheating and it has never done that before. He told me to bring the vehicle back to them. I did so, after two days he calls me and tells that it's leaking and that We Buy Cars sold me a broken vehicle and I must take it up with them. They said they will order a new part and put in my car but it's going to cost me R21 000.He tried to pass the buck and I informed him that the vehicle had no problem before I brought it to them for a service. One of their employees then said, "when we were doing the service removed a plug that was used to block the oil spill because the previous owner had used something that wasn't supposed to be used on the vehicle" after he said that, they started arguing amongst themselves. Then TREVOR came out and said they will fix the vehicle but I will have to pay. When I asked why must I pay for something that your employees broke? He then went back and forth trying to pass the buck again. I then told him that I wanted to take matter further to his senior management but that was ignored and I was informed that he will be charging me storage,it's either I fix my vehicle with them or I come and collect it. PLATINUM AUTO is a crook and they want to take advantage of innocent people and exploit them.
