Disappointed customer.
12/03/2026 I bought Parmalat 1kg - Granadilla flavour at Checkers in Malvern (Queensburgh). The BB date on the product was dated 16/04/2026.
13/03/2026 (morning, going to work) I was having this yoghurt and its tasted funny, it had a smell like that of acrylic liquid (chemical) if I may put it. 1st s****, I thought maybe I was the problem, or my taste buds were off. 2nd s****, I thought maybe my container wasn't cleaned proper, I let my husband to smell that thing, he said No! That's not right.
Immediately, I started to have a bad burning sensation in my throat, I drank water, didn't help. After sometime, it's came down.
Later on the same day, I went to Checkers, they also checked the date and smelled the yoghurt. They gave a refund and told me, they'll forward my case to the "Parmalat Rep" to contact me, they took my details. It's been a week I'm waiting.
I'm so disappointed because, I buy Parmalat yoghurt for my mornings, my husband was even complaining that I buy too much of that, in a week I'd buy X2 1kg, we were even hoping for bigger container but now, I lost hope.
