It is my distinct pleasure to submit this five-star performance report for Jude Hill. ,Jude has consistentently demonstrated exceptional client service skills, professionalism, and problem-solving ability. (See other reviews) While the broader team faced challenges—most notably from Lydia and Jacko, whose performance is below acceptable standards (missed deadlines and poor client communication)—Jude stood out as a stabilizing and exemplary force. Key Achievements & Differentiators Proactive Issue Resolution Jude anticipated my needs and resolved the matter by explaining the update to my third party claim while Lydia’s repeated delays and Jacko failed to simply explain the procedures taken and still to be taken to complete the claim. Jude proactively simplified the discussion for my as a client to understand the claim process as it is of now. Client Praise & Loyalty I noticed clients praised Jude after negative interactions with Lydia or Jacko. Jude turned their dissatisfaction into renewed trust, directly preserving the outstanding performance review internally and externally. Team Support Despite Lydia and Jacko’s poor output, Jude voluntarily stepped in to cover their missed responses during peak hours, ensuring no client was left unanswered. This went above and beyond any formal duty. Communication & Professionalism Every client interaction logged by Jude was clear, empathetic, and action-oriented. In contrast, Lydia’s tone was often abrupt and with the "I am the Boss, its your 3rd Party claim not my business, and Jacko’s replies were confusing or incomplete which made me feel belittled and stupid. Areas Where Lydia & Jacko Struggled Lydia: Gave I dont care attitude, failed to document case notes, required in a form of email. Jacko: Blamed internal systems for his own delaying tactics, gave ; limited to nothing information with no role clarification and timelines. e.g. "I will send you email when I am done". Recommendation Jude Hill is deserving of immediate recognition—monetary bonus, public acknowledgment, or lead client service role consideration. Lydia & Jacko should be placed on a formal performance improvement plan (PIP) with close monitoring.

I was involved in an accident on the 11th August 2024 where a an It guy from Shoprite bumped me from the back. After many difficulties with the driver refusing to give me their insurance details I managed to go to their head office in Umhlanga and obtain details. I called Verno Hector who deals with their claims in Cape Town. He sent an email to Paladin Insurance and Pierre Van Der Westhuizen Attorneys. On the 23 August Mbali from PVW Inc (Attorneys) informed me it will be quicker to claim from my insurance and they will re-imburse me. I have submitted my excess last year to Shoprite / Paladin and PVW Attorneys and I have been ignored ever since. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS THAT SUCH A BIG GROUP OF COMPANIES LIKE SHOPRITE RUNS AWAY FROM MINOR THINGS LIKE THIS MATTER. I WILL MAKE SURE TO PUBLISH THIS AND MAKE PEOPLE AWARE OF THEIR BRAND WHEN IT COMES TO ACCIDENTS. Shoprite reference B83139 - BB15CKZN

Stay away from these ******. My motorbike was hit by one of Paladin’s client called Brewtech Engineering. Brewtech gave me the run around and eventually gave me their insurance information which has been a headache for me since. Paladin requested documentation and quotes which l gave them but for almost a month they gave me the run around and then they eventually transferred me to their bogus lawyers PVWinc, again, they were in on the con. 3 months later, all my emails again unanswered. A guy called Siyanda Mzasi is the culprit at PVWinc, he initially responded to say he is working on the claim but eventually just ignored me. These guys are a *****, stay away from them!!!!!

In October 2023 my husband got into a car accident with someone who works for a company called mpact. We claimed 3rd party from them to avoid our premiums going up etc . Paladin has advised that they took the matter for review or rather decision making to their 3rd party lawyers from PVC inc , it has been well we are taken from one pillar to the next all parties involved are not assisting at all but rather pass the bug. We are losing on business daily as the car is our company vehicle which costs us to even use our private vehicles. Their insurance assessor came to assess our vehicle and clearly stipulated that the car is not a write off on the document, they are now telling us that they cannot fix the car due to the repair amount being more than the value of the vehicle so PVC decided to write off the vehicle when u request for the retail or book value of the car they duck and dive . Mpact is so irresponsible if their clients drives their vehicles without checking if the car is in our to be on the road . When involved in accidents they pass the bug. We have been calling and sending numerous texts etc and we not getting any help They have caused emotional distress, and lots of unnecessary money has been sent

Disappointing Underwriting /Brokers/insurers A driver of a Fidelity vehicle on 21 April 2023 was driving recklessly and hit my car, I got into contact with Fidelity so they gave me all the 3rd party documents to complete, and they also requested some of my documents, accident report etc. After a month worth sending them mails, they sent out they assessor to assess the damages. After that they suddenly went quiet, I had to make follow up, the matter was apparently with Pvw in., then around June when I did follow up again the matter was with Linda from Paladin, whom never respond to emails, and everytime I call to do a follow up, it's the same story. From June till now November, my case is "awaiting outstanding documentation from their broker. Worse now he's no longer taking my calls nor replying to my mails. The last time I had to explain my situation that they caused me an inconvenience, my wive gave birth last month, imagine the trauma of seeking transportation at 02h30 to the hospital, waking up neighbors to assist, Every time whenever he decides to respond to my mails, it's always "we're still awaiting documents from the broker" I mean how long does it take for documentation to be complete? It's almost 9 months now. My case number is CLP2307000038165 - AC27942 - RBS9794 - Motor Accident Date 21/04/2023. I need the matter to be resolved ASAP. VERY POOR SERVICE. 🤬😠😡

There is an outstanding third party claim for a car accident I was involved in. Responsible Party's insurer is Paladin Underwriting Managers. Whenever I follow up on my claim, Paladin and Fidelity staff send me from pillar to post. Over 3 months have passed since my car was damaged by a Fidelity Guard vehicle on 30 June 2022. Invoice for access was sent to Odette Maree on the 3rd September and is still not paid.
