Terrible experience!! I'm a new customer of 5 months. I provided them with my banking information and established a debit order, believing they were a reliable company that would withdraw the owed amount from my account punctually. This also offers customers considerable convenience, which is the primary reason I accept any debit order.
They never debited, not even once. I called to inquire about the situation, and they even had my debit order date incorrect, which I asked them to correct. At this point, they're sending me text messages claiming they are turning my name over to their attorneys due to non-payment, which I cannot understand since they were supposed to withdraw the money from my account, which is hardly a large sum. Yet, they failed. Every month.
Today, on 26/05, I called again to find out what was happening because I never receive a message saying they have debited, and they inform me the account has been handed over. I trusted them to manage the debit order efficiently since they are a large company and you would think they know how to do that by now, but they're telling me I reversed the amount of R300 and some change on 13 March after I called and argued with them to get their act together and stop sending me those texts.
I told them I want to cancel my membership with them because I can't trust them to keep my car covered, and they want me to pay R2300 for the cancellation! Nonsense!!
I want Netstar to resolve this as it stems from their own incompetence, and they have undoubtedly lost a customer. I am willing to take all necessary steps to ensure they correct this because you will not tarnish my name or a mere R180.
