I wish to lodge a formal complaint regarding my experience at your Nesta Food store located at *****i Centre, Burgersfort, on the 5th of May 2025 Incident Details: On this date, I visited your store to enquire about products from one of your tellers. While I was speaking to the teller, a supervisor screamed at me from a distance in a loud and aggressive manner and used derogatory language towards me. This behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and created an environment of ************. I then attempted to lodge a formal complaint with the store manager. Instead of addressing my complaint within the store premises, the manager requested that we go outside to “record” the complaint. Feeling I had no other option at the time, I stepped outside with him. Once outside, the manager stated that he acts as both the store manager and the Human Resources representative, and that he has the authority to dismiss the teller who was assisting me. I viewed this statement as an ************ tactic intended to silence my complaint rather than resolve it. Impact: As a customer, I have the right to be treated with dignity and respect under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. The actions of your staff violated this right and left me feeling harassed, unsafe, and unwilling to return to your establishment. Requested Resolution: I request that Nesta Food: Conduct a formal investigation into the conduct of the supervisor and the store manager. Provide a written response outlining the disciplinary action taken against the staff members involved. Confirm what measures will be implemented to ensure customers are treated with respect and that complaints are handled professionally and safely within the store. Should I not receive a satisfactory response within 14 working days, I will escalate this matter to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud and the National Consumer Commission for further action. I trust that Nesta Food takes customer service and staff conduct seriously and will address this matter with the urgency it deserves.

So i went to Nesta Food at Bela bela bought a few things there then decided to buy some fast food I asked that they wrap my food and i was told i have to pay for a wrap how do you pay to wrap food then again buy a bag at the cashiers

I am extremely disappointed with the service at Nesta Mahwelereng. In June, I was charged R182 for only 2 bulbs of garlic, while the same purchase in July cost me R20 and in August R24. I kept all my slips as proof. When I raised this with the store, two supervisors admitted it was a pricing error but said they couldn’t refund me without the manager’s approval. The manager (Ruan) has since refused to process my refund, citing excuses such as “no CCTV footage,” which is irrelevant since my till slip serves as proof of purchase. Instead of resolving a clear overcharge, I have been given the runaround and treated with disregard. This is unacceptable and shows a lack of accountability and respect for customers. Consumers need to be aware of such pricing discrepancies at this store, and I urge others to check their slips carefully when shopping at Nesta Butchery Mahwelereng

Your staff members i give zero. Especially there by the fast food department .. your readily prepared food is also as bad ,as if you cooking for dogs, who cooks that soup? Okay but i buy your mince and its good quality i love it.. but your staff i still give -5

I phoned the person in control of complaints and were shocked at his attitude. A certain Peter<br> <br> He informed me, that they are to large a business, to care about any customer complaints.<br> <br> This I supposed are such a healthy business, that they can afford, to sell rotten products and not be interested about any feedback.<br> <br> I suppose this is the norm lately in South Africa???<br> <br> May be the health department should pay them a surprise visit. Sorry I forgot these departments are not very affective, in this country any longer??
