This gym group has no idea what they are doing. All they want is to sell contracts. The service is pathetic the staff very unhelpful and unprofessional. All this place is a money machine with no passion zero drive and no control. The management has no control over the staff or members that do not obey the rules. It's dirty broken and gym equipment lying everywhere never put back. I hate this place.

The so called gym company , decides to debit me without letting me know . If I ask them their response was . they thought I will overspend in December and they decided to debit my account .Hell no you don't get to decide on your own with my money .

Mmm , Their service sucks was double debited on my account and when I query the mistake was on their systems . And they promised that the following month the debit order won't go off , but it went off again which means I'm paying two months in advance . I have sent emails to people who I think they are relevant to the matter , but there's no response from any of them .

DO NOT USE THIS GYM COMPANY. THEY DEBIT YOUR ACCOUNT EVEN AFTER YOU HAVE CANCELLED YOUR GYM MEMBERSHIP. WHEN YOU CALL THEM THEY CAN'T EVEN ASSIST YOU OR THE PHONE KEEPS RINGING AND RINGING UNTIL YOU GIVE IN. YOU GUYS ARE PATHETIC! NEVER EVER, I WILL MAKE SURE I TELL EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO USE THIS GYM.

Mmm the service there is terrible when an instructor is not present no replacements are given or apologies to the member when u ask at front desk u r sent from one person to another of which takes time and at the end problem is not sorted very bad because we pay for the service

The Muscle & Fitness gym in Umlazi needs to either stop signing up new members or extend it's premises. The overcrowding is really inconvenient and it results in everything being broken and never being fixed because it's always so full. Less than half the treadmills work, the studios are too small, there's always more than 4 bicycles not working in that already tiny cycle studio, most of the lockers and the benches in the changeroom are broken and there's no working scale in the whole place, it's all a mess. Maintenance would probably be easier if it was not for the overcrowding so they should either extend the place or slow down on the excessive promotion around Mega City Mall so as to curb the overcrowding.

I have joined muscle and Fitness in October 2016, used the gym till February 2017 and did not go back. Still allowed for the debits to run as I knew I was a 1 year contract. In July I called in to cancel and I explained that I am not in Durban to physically come in and cancel so that's why I called in. The lady I Spoken to said it would be noted. August comes and I am debited so I call in to enquire about it and I am told that there is an "automatic renewal" I was furious and stated that I did call in to cancel and how can they renew my contract with out informing me! The lady Tamara states that it's in my contract, yet I called to cancel in July. After the conversation cancellation forms are sent to my email. I email the forms back and they state 3 debits did not go through so I agreed to pay it off. Then they send me the amount to pay and I see it's for a higher amount and I query so Tamara tells me that they aren't able to stop the debit for the following month and I have to pay for that month which is absolute hogwash because I deal with debits and it can be stopped. I asked that they include that in part of my payment and it was refused! I then started paying them off , I finally phoned Tamara and she says I owe them R170. I paid in the R 170 and send the proof of payment and now they say I owe them for another month. I am extremely upset. These people are robbing their clients and have a don't care attitude about it . The gym isn't even fully equipped , the ladies gym area is filled with all the broken machines from the outside gym area. When we do complain to the manager she does not care. We had a scale that was not working for over 2 months and they didn't care to replace it immediately action had to be taken in order for them to change the scale.machines are always out of order... They provide such ****py service yet still want to steal from us hard working people.
